- Nurses (whatever, males or females).
- Gay/Lesbian and straight friend.
- Grannies.
- Hispanic teams (where both are hispanics).
- Goths.
- Anime geeks/ Cosplayers (better if they are girls xD).
- Madam and maid who are friends.
- Lifeguards.
- Internet friends who never saw each other in real life before the race.
- Brothers in law.
- Ski teachers.
- Muslim FF friends.
- Asian mother and daughter.
- African-American middle-aged women team.

I'll put more if something comes to my mind. ;P

I find it easy to imagine a team of farm siblings because I'm writing about them recently.

Also, we can combine cyber-friends and RFF fans.

A man and a newly pregnant wife (1-2 months, not showing).

Being from Europe, I have little knowledge of American Politics, so a Conservative / Liberal Team would mean absolutely nothing to me. 
And a newly pregnant wife?  I'm no doctor, but I highly doubt medical would allow it? 

Having said that, a team of old guys, or another metal head team is something I've longed for, for some time now. 
And a team of strippers would be great as well, but something tells me it'd be too "hardcore" for TAR. 

I've said it once, and I'll say it again -  I still think TAR 23 had one of, if not THE best (Non-Allstars) cast in terms of diversity.  (TAR 18 would be the most diverse overall for "character" teams)

- Arab Cousins (I think Leo & Jamal were some sort of Arabian decent? Correct me if I'm wrong)

The only thing that let the entire cast down was the Standard Dating Team!  - Yes, I'm looking at you Jason & Amy!

By liberal and conservative, one team member is a Republican who's into Trump while the other team member is a Democrat who's into Clinton as both team members will vote different candidates in the election.

Well, what if we had two white supremacists with a good personality from the start?

I want to see a team wherein 1 member is the extreme optimist, very positive of everything and always hoping for the best, while 1 member is the ultimate pessimist, very depressed with life and always thinking there is no hope for anything good to happen. This I think would fit for family-type teams.

For example:
Pessimist: "It's over! We're last! It's all my fault at the roadblock."
Optimist: "It's not your fault, dear. We can still beat them in a footrace, and we will never know what can happen to them."
