(purely speculation)
Teams checking in at the same time usually arrange themselves in the order of

Higher ranking on the right of the screen , lower ranking on the left (If the pit-stop greeter is on the right of phil)
Example : Leg 2 (2nd - 4th), Leg 10 (3th - 5th)

Higher ranking on the left of the screen , lower ranking on the right (If the pit-stop greeter is on the left of phil)
Example : Leg 9 (2nd - 3th)

From the preview cap, we can find that the pit-stop greeter is on the left of phil
So, we can suspect that Kelsey & Joey, Justin & Diana and Tiffany & Krista are 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively? (Consider that Chris looks happy)

Again, purely spec, butbased on this, maybe Justin & Diana believe they're safe after outrunning Tiffany & Krista, but get a penalty themselves, and therefore are eliminated?  How amazing would it be for that too happen!  :wohoo:

Having said that, I can't imagine they'd show us Justin's reaction to being eliminated in the preview.

I think Kelsey's not-very-happy face and Joey's "Wow" suggests Justin & Diana survived? I may be going too far here but ??? Not saying that they'd be jumping up and down  (I probably would)

Based on that and everyone else's faces (and the fact that I don't believe they'd literally show Justin's reaction to elimination) I strongly believe Justin & Diana come in last but are saved by Tiffany & Krista

From what I recall, in earlier seasons, the preview that shows teams struggling are usually safe. And the team that looked safe are usually in danger of being eliminated. Is this edit still in effect?
The preview for TAR 25 Leg 2 literally showed the last two teams (Dennis & Isabelle, Shelley & Nici) racing to the Pit Stop, so we can't really use that edit logic you brought up. They've done a good job this season at not spoiling who will be eliminated (mainly because almost every preview has been Green-centric).

I'm probably wrong, but my speculation based on their positions and reactions:
K&J - First - penalty
J&D - 2nd - penalty
T&K - 3rd - penalty
C&L - last - no penalty - actual 1st

I like gamer's and cba's speculations, because they're very credible and agreeable to me.

By the way, what are the chances of a penalty happening? ??? What if it's not a penalty? What if someone forgot to pay the cab or left the fanny pack somewhere or an injury that causes tears to flow, etc.?

Cap 2 - Ladies Market (Shantung Street), Mong Kok like in intro  (omg I wonder if they went here! I was here in the morning on the day spoilers spotted them in HK! :trampb:  They've shown Mong Kok quite a bit and didn't even show TST with Peninsula Hotel (which prolly only had a clue box), so could a quick task be possible here? Or maybe HoO? The place has Ladies Market, streets with LOTS of shoe shops (nickname Shoe Street), old buildings (tong laus)...)

But considering a sighting in the morning in TST, maybe not (but I can dream, right?  )

According to Justin: J&D is in F3, and they have at least one 1st left.

Quote
Justin: "Can't believe we tied the record for most consecutive wins! #TheGreenTeam #AmazingRace #DreamComeTrue"
https://twitter.com/JustinClassic1/status/667906760099934208

This was on the 20th. Is it BS, an understatement or fact?

Quote
Tim Gross: @JustinClassic1 congrats on your new Amazing Race record for consecutive wins"
Justin: "Thank you Tim as a Superfan it's a dream come true still can't believe it"
Tim Gross: "@JustinClassic1 From one superfan to another, I'm happy it was a team of superfans that broke the record"
https://twitter.com/the_exTIMinator/status/670485059477110784

This was after the viewing party in NYC yesterday. Was the tie an understatement, or was the shared record part left out or is it all just a load of BS?

Consecutive win, not MOST wins.

Meghan and Cheyne, Rachel and Dave and Dave and Connor all had 4 straight wins in their bag.

Justin and Diana just did 5 wins in a row. And of course he had to announce to the world about it, if that's the only record he's breaking this season.

And based on the caps, I really think that it's in order? Kelsey and Joey 1st/2nd, Green Team 2nd/3rd, Girls are 3rd/4th and they are altogether at the pitstop?

Logan and Chris seemed to be shocked by an announcement by Phil. So it's either they arrive 1ST and receive a penalty and then all the rest survives. Or Logan and Chris are last and then there are teams who received penalty and they survived.

I really can't tell much from the caps (good editing for once?? LOL) but didn't we have caps of Tiffany and Krista and Logan and Chris in the finale?

And Justin's reaction seemed more DEVASTATED than HAPPY. If it's something happy like surviving even after a difficult leg, he might have hugged Diana rather than drop down on his knees.

Idk. It's just too hard for me to believe that Green Team goes home so I'm not putting my hopes high, even though the episode title and preview point to or seemed to be suggesting it. Too good to be true lol.

Usually episode titles are chosen from something the racer said that defined the leg, something that viewers can remember the leg for. It would be fitting for the quote to be saying how hard it is to beat green team, but in actual fact they did get eliminated...

My two cents worth.

Could the twist the racers "didn't see coming" be that there are only two teams in the finale this season?
Just speculating

The performance task is in the Dancing Water Theatre, at the City of Dreams Casino in Macau. It's a highwire show called "The House of Dancing Water"

Someone pointed this out on the TAR 27 Wikipedia article, then I did a Google Image search to verify. It's a match.

Possible. ??? I wouldn't like the twist if it happens, but it'd be great to have fresh new twists. :)

IF JUSTIN & DIANA ARE NOT OUT I AM SO DONE I SWEAR TO GOD I HAVE SUFFERED THROUGH ELEVEN LEGS OF THEM AND I DO NOT WANT THE DISPLEASURE OF SEEING THEM RACE IN THE FINALE :res: :res: :res: :res: :res: :res: :res: :res: :res:

Easily the worst team EVER since Art & JJ. I might even like Art & JJ more!

Yeah, it seems too good to be true, but a lot of people are probably hoping that the Green Team goes home.  I don't outright hate the Green Team (or at least, Justin) but they're so dominating that I wouldn't mind seeing them eliminated.
