But the instagram was presumably from early morning, in which case it's Emirates 398, which will leave in a couple of hours.  Dep 8:50 AM Arr 10:00 PM.

Negative sights from the on-the-ground team at 10.30 AM flight...

presumably teams arriving at the later flight, at 10.00 PM....

but Phil and other crew might arrived already with the 10.30 AM flight...
Teams Spotted in Terminal 1, Dubai , 1 hour ago

Terminal 1? If that's true, then maybe teams are not taking Emirates, since all Emirates flights are in Terminal 3. ???

Do you think teams are not in the same flight? Because the previous sighting suggested that they are using Emirates.

Is it possible teams could have wandered to Terminal 1 looking for different flight options before settling on Emirates? Singapore, Malaysia, and Thai Airways all fly out of Terminal 1, and they offer connections (albeit slower ones) to Bali.

Someone mention on Baidu that the F3 teams use the Guangzhou Airport instead of Hong Kong Airport back to LA.

they went back to LA via Guangzhou but did they definitely fly into Hong Kong? I would make sense to fly into Guangzhou because they don't have cross a border and they won't have Hong Kong visited again. And also Shenzhen airport is quite big, they have direct flights to Bali meaning they could have just flown straight there.

Did you check? There were no flights into Shenzhen from Denpasar that day.  There is this one, which actually would put teams into Shenzhen in daylight, so I like it!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think BritishTARFan was talking about the finale leg and going back to the states, while you Peach posted a flight from Indonesia to China (leg 11) ???

I didn't check because I don't know of a website that shows past flight times, Do you think you could tell me the site that you use Peach? And also I just looked on Wikepedia and China Eastern has direct flights from Denpasar to Shenzhen but they probably aren't daily!

So I think I can provide some information about the reason why they go to guangzhou

For HK:
They have to cross the boarder and board the MTR and transit in different station(From Lo Wu to Airport).
I think it takes probably two hours.

For Guangzhou:
teams can board a shuttle bus to guangzhou
(Since I always go to Shenzhen and take the bus to rural town of China and visit my grandparents)
Shuttle bus may be one of alternate path to guangzhou (3-4 buses/one day)
(Or teams may get a task in guangzhou)

Moreover, there is also an option or the teams to travel from Shenzhen to guangzhou
Probably take 1.5 hrs on average

I hope my info helps
