Previously on The Amazing Race Canada...

8 teams kept on racing to Sudbury, Ontario. At the crime scene detour, Nick & Matt proved they're both brain and brawn moving them from 3rd to 2nd but they couldn't catch Gino & Jesse who swallowed their FF and got their third 1st. Brian & Cynthia struggled on a leg that was made for them. After struggling to revive their life in the race, Nic & Sabrina finished last and were eliminated.

7 teams remain.

Gino & Jesse depart 1st at 9:01 PM. Fly to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A toonie for this leg of the race lol. They think they're going to 3-peat.
Nick & Matt - 12:05 AM. Brian & Cynthia - 12:09 AM. They want to have some more fun. Brent & Sean - 1:05 AM. Brent's bday tomorrow so they're hoping to get 1st.

Simi & Ope - 2:59 AM. Wow. Neil & Kristin - 3:48 AM. Dujean & Leilani - 4:21 AM.

Last leg for Brent & Sean to use the EP. They want to use it to get 1st.

All teams flying via Toronto to Saskatoon. Make their way to the tarmac and then build a flight plan. Using a mathematical equation and knowledge of flight duration, teams have to find a combination of flights that go to 3 continents and equal 25 hours of flight time. Departure and arrival times are in different time zones.

Brian is letting Cynthia do the task. Brian: I've got to take my shoes off to count to 10.

Brent & Sean are both design students so they never use math lol. And they use the EP? RB: Who's ready to jump? Drive to Apex Trampoline Park. Complete a 3 part trampoline course. Bounce sequentially on 9 trampolines without touching surrounding mats. Launch over a foam wall without knocking a brick over. Jump really high and ring a bell to get the clue. Brent's doing the RB.

Dujean & Leilani take a 2 hour penalty! What the heck is going on. Dujean is doing the RB.

Brent finished the first part on his 2nd try. He can't jump over the 3 giant bricks lol. He's not getting enough height on the trampoline.

Neil & Kristin wrong on their first check. Wrestlers not right as well. Gino & Jesse using a formula and not doing it randomly lol. Neil & Kristin wrong again. NEIL & KRISTIN TAKE THE PENALTY AS WELL!!! Neil is doing the RB. Kristin wishes Neil didn't take the penalty... Kristin said he should have talked to her first about it...

Brent finished the 2nd part of the RB. Now he needs to get enough height on a trampoline to ring the bell. And he's done the RB. The clue is a bottle cap that says Original Founders.

Dujean & Leilani arrive at the trampoline park. Dujean done the first part.

Neil & Kristin at the RB. Kristin telling Leilani about how her dad just took the penalty without even talking about it. Leilani realizes that they only have to beat Neil & Kristin. Dujean done the RB in 2nd.

Gino & Jesse converting all their times to minutes because it's easier. Gino & Jesse seem to be very smart about this. Gino & Jesse asking other teams to start plugging in numbers to find the flights. Gino & Jesse literally have all the flights listed on their whiteboard in minutes. All the teams working together.

Gino & Jesse, Nick & Matt and Brian & Cynthia all done the task. Brothers say they don't want to work with other people but they thought it was smart this time because it would be faster. Simi & Ope decided not to work with them for some reason...? Or maybe they weren't asked? Not sure why but they're last at the flight task.

Surprised that 2 teams took the penalty and that Brent & Sean used the EP. I guess it was good for Brent & Sean so far because they're still in 1st. Maybe the task was actually harder than it seemed??? There were a lot of flights but shouldn't have been too hard to figure it out. Just time consuming maybe.

Simi & Ope get a check on their flight plan. Their flight durations are correct but it doesn't add to 25 hours. Ope's frustrated.

Brian's doing the RB. Kristin is mad that Neil took the penalty because other teams started showing up at about 10 minutes later. Nick's doing the RB. He's done the 1st part. Jesse's done the 1st part. Nick done the 2nd part. Jesse done the 2nd part. They're both done the RB. Wrestlers done in 3rd. Brothers in 4th.

Brent & Sean at the Great Western Brewery Company. Out of the 5000 caps, teams must find 15 bottle caps that match the one they were given in the clue... Wow. "This looks just like my garbage can after a weekend."

Ope said the minutes were messing him up. They converted and now they're done the task. Ope's trying to tell the clue giver a story and Simi's just like "NO STORIES, NO STORIES."

Brian can't get past the 1st part. Neil still at the 1st part of the RB.

Brent & Sean found 14. And now 15 + the one in their clue. They have 16 and they get the detour clue. Proceed to Wanuskewin Heritage Park.
Nimitook: Perform a traditional hoop dance. Using an expert dancer for guidance, dance to the beat of a traditional drum and make 5 spiritually symbolic shapes.
Mikwap: Build a traditional teepee with the equipment and an example.

Dujean & Leilani searching through bottle caps. Dujean finding them quickly. I think they're white so it's maybe not that hard to spot?

Neil done the 1st part of the RB. Brian struggling on the 1st part still. Somehow when he struggles he's still managing to do backflips and stuff? Commercial.

Brian saying he can't do the first part of the RB. Cynthia says he can. And he does lol.

Neil finishes the 2nd part and 3rd part. Done the RB in 5th.

Dujean & Leilani found the 15 bottle caps. They're doing Nimitook.

Brent: "This one's a light grey... but pretty much every colour looks good on me." Brent & Sean putting on the outfits for the task. The different spirits: Snake, eagle, butterfly, flower and then finishing with Mother Earth. Hoops can't touch the ground. After it was explained... "Wait, so what do I do?"

Brian & Cynthia get a 5th subtitle but they're in 6th lol.

Wrestlers and brothers searching for bottle caps. Wrestlers say brothers are like 2 annoying mosquitoes lol. Brothers done the task very quickly.

Ope's doing the RB. He's done the first part. Struggling on the 2nd part lol. There's funny struggling music. Ope can't get over and after an attempt he just lays down. Simi: Dad, get up!

Nick & Matt done bottle cap in 4th. Brian & Cynthia and Neil & Kristin arrive.

Brent & Sean going for their first attempt. No good on their first attempt. Sean dropped a hoop in the transition to the eagle.

Brian & Cynthia done the bottle caps in 5th. Neil & Kristin done in 6th.

Ope done the 2nd part of the RB and 3rd part. They're out in last.

Dujean & Leilani arrive at Nimitook. Brent & Sean are nervous because they're professional dancers lol. Dujean & Leilani go for their 1st attempt. They need to work on their end.

Brian & Cynthia are lost. They're on the wrong side of the river. Cynthia tells Brian to relax. Brian tells Cynthia to drive. They're arguing with each other. Brian: "What are you going to do? Give me a time out?"

Brent & Sean not successful on another attempt.

Gino & Jesse arrive and they're doing Mikwap. They've built tons of things and done tons of renovations so this is up their alley. Brent & Sean see that Gino & Jesse have arrived lol.

Matt has dreamed about building a teepee this entire race.
Nick: "I dream about eating sandwiches... Pancakes sometimes."

Brent & Sean have to work on their flower. Gino & Jesse building their teepee... Brent & Sean want to get 1st for Brent's birthday leg. They're done the detour in 1st! Pit stop: Make your way on foot to search for Jon at the Wanuskewin Lookout Point! Last team may be eliminated.

Gino & Jesse got a check and they're done the detour in 2nd! Brent & Sean not sure where they're going. They both sound like they're going to throw up??? They keep coughing and gagging while running?

Not sure if it's just editing or if it's actually a race for first. Seems like editing because I didn't see Brent & Sean and Gino & Jesse in a single shot together.

And we're back with the race to the pit stop. Brent & Sean struggling to run to the pit stop. Gino & Jesse not sure if they're 1st or 2nd...

And Brent & Sean arrive at the pit stop in 1st. Sean literally tumbles while taking off his backpack running to the pit stop. They stumble onto the RB and Sean starts gagging like he's going to throw up. They won a trip to Paris and 1 year free gas. They had 4 goals for this race: didn't want to get eliminated first, get EP, get 1st on Brent's bday. Their last goal is to win TAR Canada.

Gino & Jesse are team #2. Jon says they're running the race with fire in their bellies.

Nick & Matt get a check on their teepee. Their sticks are wrong so they have to pull everything apart. They get a 2nd check. Their sticks are still wrong.

Brian says there's no way the park is here... And Cynthia sees the sign for the park lol. They're building the teepee. They want to built it with respect.

Simi & Ope done the bottle cap task. They haven't seen teams since the morning.

Dujean & Leilani done the detour in 3rd. Neil & Kristin arrive at the detour. Kristin still frustrated with Neil. Telling him to not take his time because they're in last lol.

Brian & Cynthia got a check but their sticks are wrong.

Dujean & Leilani are the 3rd team to arrive at the pit stop. They have a 2 hour penalty.

Brian & Cynthia got another check but their rope is wrong. Nick & Matt got another check but their first 3 sticks are wrong... At least they're told what's wrong lol. Nick: "Matt may have had a dream about building a teepee but it has quickly become my nightmare."

Kristin says that they should switch detours to the hoops dance.

And we're back with Neil & Kristin deciding if they should do dance... They decide to switch. Kristin loves this detour. Neil messed it up on their 1st attempt. And on another attempt Neil is struggling. Looks like he's choking himself.

Nick & Matt's sticks are STILL not right! Wow. They decide to switch to dance.

Neil & Kristin going for their 6th attempt and they're done the detour in 4th.

Brian & Cynthia working on their teepee. The rope has to go around the sticks in a certain way. And they're done the detour in 5th!

Neil & Kristin arrive at the pit stop in 4th but they have a 2 hour penalty. Dujean & Leilani's time penalty is up and they're team #3! WHAT?!?!?!?

Brian & Cynthia are team #4. Brian: "Crappy."

Simi & Ope see that Nick & Matt are still at the detour. They're doing dance as well.

Neil & Kristin have 41 mins left in their penalty. Simi & Ope doing the detour... Commercial.

And were back. Neil & Kristin have 30 mins left in their penalty.

Ope appreciating the task because it has so much meaning. He's proud to be Canadian. Simi's glad to have done the task with him. They're done the detour in last.

20 mins left in Neil & Kristin's penalty time. Ope struggling with running... Simi & Ope are running and Neil & Kristin watch them run onto the mat. Neil & Kristin brought to the mat as well. Simi & Ope are the last team to arrive but because of the penalty, they're team #7? What. Jon got it wrong lol. Subtitle wrong as well. Neil & Kristin were eliminated from the race. Kristin's glad she got to do the race with him.

Next time... Fly to Kolkata, India! They must contend with chaos in the street where some tempers will flair. Gino & Jesse arguing lol. While others struggle to find their inner peace. Brent & Sean struggling with some kind of gymnastics-esque task lol.

After The Race special starting now. Not really going to post unless there's something really interesting.

Kristin: "Pain is temporary, ponies are forever." That's what she told herself during the horse detour. She was given muscle relaxant at the hospital.

Air Canada gave Hamilton & Michaelia passport lanyards HAHAHA. And Air Canada giving them a set of full luggage for their next travel journey. Nic said that Hamilton & Michaelia were going to be the first team out because they're young and small LOL.

Missing task!!!  We have a missing task folks! We have the photo and video of the Red River Jig. But it did not make the show. However, a couple shots of teams leaving it did. Both shots occurred after the task at Great Western Brewery.

1st - Neil and Kristen. Shows them crossing the river. GWB is downtown and a straight shot  on 2nd Avenue towards Wanuskewin. No need to go over the river. Will need to watch again to know what bridge they are on.

2nd - Simi and Ope. Shows a sign that says "Wiggins Avenue". That sign is right beside the university and the entrance to the Diefenbaker Canada Centre.

Gino & Jesse, Dana & Amanda and Neil & Kristin. I think it's for free gas for a year or something idk.

Extended preview for next week... basically shows nothing new except more of Brent & Sean struggling with their gymnastics-ish challenge. Sean is on his back with knees in the air and Brent is trying to balance on Sean or something. Sean accidentally tilts Brent over so that he flips over and his head hits the ground.
