Brian & Cynthia done the detour in 2nd.

...Gino & Jesse and Brian & Cynthia going to the 2X U-Turn board... Brian & Cynthia arrive first. ...
So, it seems that Gino and Jesse twice finished and were passed by another team before arriving at the next marker.  If I understood that right, not much was made of their poor navigation skills.

Loved the episode - lots of drama (but not the team fighting and bickering kind).

I think we need to see another face off task to see it in play properly without teams taking penalties.

I am kind of hoping there may be another one this season just for this reason and to find out the time penalty for last place.

At least we know why the teams looked so tired in that video taken at Pearson on the way to Sudbury. KoR and at least 3 flights/airports???

We had wondered, while watching, why the teams were seen running from the mat.

RIP QUEEN KRISTIN, my heart is breaking for her </3

Hope she can slay a few more legs on an injury <3
I'd rather walk alone than let them throw dirty confetti. ♥

So what's the point of the W-turn if the producer decided this leg to be KOR??  :res:
Nic & Sabrina were so lucky. There were two teams taking penalty at kayak challenge, so they can directly do the detour, but why 4 hours penalty? i remember Nic & Sabrina only got 2 hours penalty at Football challenge in Argentina. And btw how long they had to wait before they got the clue at the horse detour?

I am sure it depends on the type of challenge and for this Face Off, they needed to make the forfeit penalty extra unappealing. Didn't seem to deter them though. I understand Kristen and Neil, but why didn't Simi and Ope, with only two more teams to face, just not throw the comps. I can't see the time penalty for last place being greater than the forfeit penalty. Maybe an hour???

Initially, I thought Brian & Cynthia might be like a Canadian Chuck & Wynona (both in their 40's, she's a bit out of shape), and Cynthia's performance on the leg 1 Roadblock didn't help that  :funny: But they're actually a pretty strong team! This is their third 2nd place finish.

The best Chuck & Wynona did was one 3rd place.

A glorious leg. One of the best produced in a long, long time. Everything was perfect. The editing was so good! All the teams keep providing too which is great. Can't wait for next week!

OMG What a Leg! Definitely on my "Top 5 legs I wouldn't like to participate in". Loved the editing of the ending (as opposed to the USA one in the same situation ;)

I actually hated this leg design-wise, but the teams saved it and turned it into a great ep.

Very happy for Simi & Ope and Nic & Sabrina surviving, but major ew at Brian & Cynthia not winning the leg. We were so close to having five different teams win the first five legs </3

Kristen is a trooper and even though I wasn't that big of a fan of theirs in the past, I am rooting for her and I'm amazed that she decided to continue.

Next week's leg doesn't look that good either (eating bugs then jumping into a pool or going underground and a CPR Roadblock with a fake mother crying if you failed? doesn't seem like compelling tv), so here's hoping the teams continue to deliver next week.

My opinion is if you go into the show expecting it to be bad you're going to see it as bad regardless
