I must say...based on this thread (and elsewhere), that I find myself struggling to call myself a TAR fan...you guys can recall specific legs from specific seasons...that's some dedication!  :)
We're not your ordinary fans, we're super fans :grins:
I can't say for everyone here, but I usually check the wikipedia pages when I'm lost and I certainly don't recall everything! :)

we don't know everything off by heart, I know all the routes but thats just about it

TAR 9, Oman Leg.

Fran and Barry winning the leg.
The two teams, who had won 1st and 2nd places throughout the previous 8? legs, was 4th and 5th (NEL) place.

Interesting Detour, AWESOME self-driving.. random RB

TAR 24, leg 8 in Orvieto:

I know conventional wisdom would be to praise Malaysia 2 for its wildly difficult Detour or Sri Lanka 2 for having culturally relevant tasks but Italy 2 has self-driving, uncooperative animals, an actually difficult puzzle, an appropriately placed W-Turn, a difficult RB AFTER said W-Turn and a lot of gorgeous scenery. Yes Dave is awful and yes the Globetrotters were a year behind but still.

I don't know about underrated, but my favorite legs are as follows, in no particular order:

- Season 9, Leg 9. Australia is amazing to begin with, and the back country leg in Arnhem Land was just great. But the foot race?!?!?  :<3 :cheer: :yess: Both that plus the music gave me goosebumps. Plus the hippies were saved by a NEL!
- Season 17 finale. TAR 17 was the first season I watched, and I fell in love. I watched this season on TV, and tbh it felt unique to start my own amazing race journey with such a historic season, what with the first F/F winners. Plus the memory challenge gave me goosebumps.
- Season 12 finale. I have a thing about awesome memory challenges, so this season's memory challenge alone made this season one of my favorites!
- Season 19, leg 11. My favorite season (tied with 17). I know everyone seemed to love Andy & Tommy, but I personally could not stand them (my opinion, no hating please). When their winning streak came crashing down, I danced and screamed with joy. Plus the revisit to Panama was awesome!
- Season 11, leg 4. I also have a thing for rooting for the underdog, and when Charla and Mirna beat Rob & Amber in a footrace?  :hearts:

Those are probably my top 5. What do you all think? Agree? Disagree?

TAR1 Beijing
TAR4 Venice
TAR4 Seoul
TAR5 Saint Petersburg
TAR6 Ethiopia (Beautiful locale, plus a very satisfying elimination from a teams I dislike)

TAR12 Anchorage (Love this final leg and the tasks. I will love this leg more if the result in this last few minutes doesn't happen)
TAR13 NZ (I super love this NZ leg because this leg feel like the blend of European + Polynesian culture. Plus it ditched off the NZ adventure theme leg which is TAR franchise overused in a bad way.)
TAR13 Moscow 2
TAR15 Prague 2
TAR17 Saint Petersburg 1 & 2
TAR19 Panama
TAR22 Berlin
TAR24 Malaysia 2, Sri Lanka 2, Italy 1 (Duh, only these 3 legs barely considered as AS-level leg. Other legs in TAR24 is sub-par.)
TAR25 Denmark, Philippines 2
TAR25/TAR29: Modern classic season.

Okay, now that I have enough examples above, I'll give my opinion.

TAR24 Leg 10: Spain
My favorite episode in the worst season ever, because there was so much drama here.  :hearts:
1. Teams were in 2 different flights.
2. The roadblock was time pressured. It wasn't easy as well.
3. The detour: bull balls or dancing. Both tasks show culture. :hrt:
4. Dave & Connor got to the U-turn in 1st, but they wasted theirs in Leg 8, thus they were unable to U-turn their target.
5. Afghanimals got to the U-turn in 2nd, and their U-turn choice was strategic (Cowboys) rather than personal, or allied :res: (Brenchel).
6. In point #5, Afghanimals and Cowboys have a history of rivalry, especially in the first few legs. This made things more exciting. :yess:
7. Cowboys were the only ones out of the feud, yet they were the ones booted out. I started to like them for that, but Afghanimals' strategy was necessary for them.

TAR22 Leg 2: Bora Bora
There was so much happening here! There were 10 teams in a tropical themed leg, a type of leg that rarely occurs, especially with that much teams. :hearts:
1. Top 3 teams from previous leg continued dominating, despite an equalizer (for most of the teams).
2. I like the detour! When can you see an underwater table being set up? :funny: And how easy was it to find the pearls?
3. The roadblock made some struggle, some teams were even competing for first or near-last placements!
4. 2 teams were very far behind. The equalizer saved them 2 hours of their penalty. In the end, both teams were 7th and 8th, which wasn't even last or 2nd-last!
5. The last 2 teams? One took too much time navigating through the waters. They even met the last 2 teams, which later became their allies.
6. The other team? Aquaphobia made them waste more than enough time at the detour. It was enough time for the last 2 teams to catch up.
7. Achilles drama. :o That time it was pathetic. Later on, it became a bad outcome after all. :groan:
8. JJ holding the EP from Dave & Connor was something we thought that was breaking the rules of the alliance.
Bora Bora was truly one of my favorites! :hrt:

TAR23 Leg 3: Portugal
That episode started the good chunks of TAR23. :hearts:
1. Chester & Ephraim's flight drama, which later resulted them to be almost a full day behind all the other teams.
2. The flight drama overall. The bunnies making their smart move :cheer: and Tim & Marie falling behind for that.
3. The tasks were pretty decent. :luvya: They reminded me of classic Europe.
4. Leo & Jamal lying to Tim & Marie in an attempt for the latter to use their EP, which they decided to not use and risk themselves in danger.
5. The time gap between the teams were really far apart due to the flight drama. Wow!

TAR21 Leg 9: Netherlands
That leg was Abbie & Ryan's doom.
1. 1st team to depart was 25 hours ahead of the last team to depart. :stare
2. The first 3 teams got on the flight one day after they left the pit stop. :stare And yet, the last 2 teams haven't caught up.
3. Take note, the last 2 teams have not seen any team since Leg 6 or 7.
4. The W-turn strategy by the Twinnies, who took the FF and was ironically absent at the W-turn.
5. Chippendales' heartbreaking decision. :(
6. Abbie & Ryan and Beekman's baffled thoughts at the W-turn, plus their also heartbreaking decisions.
7. Abbie & Ryan's ultimate boot after the terrible flight delay and W-turn. Take note, they had the DYM prize won during the 1st leg.

I'll stop here. That's about enough.

TAR3

Leg 7 (Germany) - I always found this to be quite underrated. It's an awesome episode featuring both Germany and Austria, and the race's first ever visit to both countries. Incredible leg with a nice Roadblock and a good Detour.

TAR6

Leg 2 (Norway) - Probably the best second leg of all time. Terrific Roadblock in Oslo, and a nice boat challenge (Intersection like) in Norway, and one of the best Detours ever)

Leg 3 (Sweden) - Awesome episode and one of my favourites to this day. Lena & Kristy getting eliminated was indeed very sad but the Detour/Roadblock were incredible to say the least. Season 6 remains to be one of my all time favourite seasons

Leg 11 (China) - Perhaps my favourite leg of all time of TAR. It's beautiful, a deadly fight for the finals. I loved the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum visit and especially the Roadblock with the locks in Xian. This season is heavily bashed by many, which is unfair.

TAR18

Leg 9 (Liechtenstein & Switzerland) - People seem to hate this leg just because the Cowboys got eliminated. I loved it, terrific to see two beautiful countries in Europe, including a terrific Roadblock and a nice Detour. Zermatt sure is a nice place to visit in the winter time

TAR19

Leg 8 (Denmark) - An episode that no one seems to remember, but I  personally love it. It was at least much better than TAR25's visit to Copenhagen, nice Roadblock, a Double U Turn and a unique Detour. Shame about Lawrence & Zac though

Leg 9 (Belgium) - Loved it. The race visited three European countries in one leg. I loved the Roadblock in Denmark, + the tea cups at Lego Land. The Body building challenge in Brussels was hilarious

TAR21

Leg 6 (Turkey) - Uhh, why does everyone hate this leg? Sure some of the tasks were weak and it was a complete copy of the Baku from the previous leg. I enjoyed this leg at least a lot more than the two boring Russian legs that followed. Interesting locales

Leg 9 (The Netherlands) - Criminally underrated, and very interesting. I liked it more than the Amsterdam leg from TAR12, but less than the TAR26 visit. The 'Switchback' to TAR12 was alright I guess, nothing special. I did enjoy the Detour, the Fast Forward and the Double U Turn sending Abby & Ryan home, but I hate the Twinnies

Leg 10 (Mallorca, Spain) - Best leg of the season, and one of my favourite all time TAR legs. Again, another one that seems to be forgotten, but I love it. Spain was well overdue for a visit, and it paid off

Leg 11 (Loire Valley, France) - Perhaps the tasks weren't that great this leg, but you can't beat France. It was a nice penultimate leg, which sent home the worst team of the race.

TAR22

Leg 5 (Vietnam) - Actually one of my favourite legs in Asia, ever. People hate because of the Roadblock, but Asia was so less this season, yet it seemed to deliver more than any other season.

Leg 8 (Switzerland) - Yeah yeah, it was a but of a Swiss railway entertainment cruise but I loved it. Nice challenges with dogs, good scenery, do the cheese again and a satisfying Roadblock
