We have zero evidence and nothing besides speculation on Botswana though?

Keep in mind that we have a full day in between Den Haag and Krakow. We cannot rule out another leg in there yet, however unlikely.

It's going to be pretty unlikely though! We've just had a non-stop Pit Stop in Paris, and we've never had three legs run in three consecutive days before, let alone this idea of four legs run in four consecutive days!

Just saying there IS room for another leg, not that they necessarily would do it though. But we haven't had a 21 day race in awhile either....

Logan and Chris were spotted at the airport travelling to India, so I think you should mark them safe through Poland. ???

For clarification:

Up to my knowledge, no one was spotted in Germany.

They all have been spotted at Krakow-John Paul II Airport (KRK) waiting to board Germany-bound flights, where we suppose that they were to connect with 2 Lufthansa Delhi-bound (DEL) flights, one originating in Frankfurt (FRA) and the other one in Munich (MUC).

Apologies, I thought the picture of the 4 teams was taken in Germany but I see while I've been gone it's been ID'd as Krakow Airport.

However, I don't want to "suppose" here that the teams split via Frankfurt & Munich. We do have confirmation of teams going via Frankfurt here. At this stage I can't see sightings of teams heading to Munich... so is the Munich connection SPEC or am I missing something? ???

Great! No Prob! Frankfurt is confirmed as a destination out of Krakow and Munich is still pure speculation due to the proximity of the timing of other connecting flights and also because -maybe- other team(s) might have been missed at another gate at Krakow airport.

There are only the two flights that work we think...unless they are held overnight. So the 3 teams that were seen initially were ID'd on the Frankfurt flight. With the sighters being pretty certain there were only 3 teams on their flight. So SPEC that the rest went via Munich.

I'm a newbie here and don't understand something about the timeline. Phil and crew flew out of Vic Falls on July 1st. We saw the teams racing in Vic Falls on June 30 and it was an elimination leg. How does the show hold up the teams so they arrive after Phil and crew? I believe they weren't sighted in Paris until July 3rd. Thanks my new friends.

I don't know if they necessarily hold them up, but Phil and crew are probably already on a flight to the next destination while teams are still waiting out their Pit Stop.

However, as Phil has said, there have been instances where he just beat the first team to the Mat by minutes.

Welcome R as in Reality!

When they are racing somewhere with limited travel options like Victoria Falls, they will send Phil and other staff members off to the next destination as soon as possible and hold the teams for the next flight after that. That would probably be the next day from Victoria Falls. So, the teams get a longer pit stop (or get released and have to sit in the airport for 18-20 hours). Basically, TAR production can and do hold the teams for as long as they need to so that Phil stays ahead of the teams. It's been a long time since TAR stuck to an 8 or 12 hour pit stop. At least, that's how I understand it.

Thanks! Holding them in Vic Falls would explain the time discrepancy, since they wouldn't leave until the next day July 2!

There are also safety considerations depending on the area involved. From what I've read at the US State Department website on Zimbabwe, holding teams until they needed to be released to get to the airport/travel agency to leave the country makes a great deal of sense.

Since the summary makes me really confused. Just wanna ask if Josh and Tanner will be safe until the end of Leg 8 or the end of Leg 9? Thank you.

Thanks to Slowhatch and the screencaps, the PitStop for Ep 3 is front of the Ricardo Güiraldes Gaucho Museum.

I think the timeline is incorrect. Episode 4 was filmed on the 27th to 30th rather than 27th to 29th. We did not take the mid-leg sleepover into account.
