This is not speculation, but someone was kind enough to send me the link about it. :)
So we can just ignore this part. )-** Sorry about the small commotion.

By the screencaps on the live sightings thread it seems confirmed that Jasmine & Danielle are safe through Buenos Aires.

Did we manage to figure out where Luiz's photo of the computer terminal and counter was taken? I'm trying to decide between this:

22 Jun   Los Angeles
23 Jun   Leg 1: Rio de Janeiro
24 Jun   Leg 2: Rio de Janeiro
25 Jun   -
26 Jun   Leg 3: Buenos Aires/San Antonio de Areco
27 Jun   -
28 Jun   Travel
29 Jun   Leg 4: Africa

and this:

22 Jun   Los Angeles
23 Jun   Leg 1: Rio de Janeiro
24 Jun   -
25 Jun   Leg 2: Buenos Aires
26 Jun   Leg 3: San Antonio de Areco
27 Jun   -
28 Jun   Travel
29 Jun   Leg 4: Africa

Neobie.....probably a bad assumption on my part, but I always assumed that Luiz was from Rio and the pic was from Rio, since Luiz posted in Portuguese and Declive said that Luiz was from Rio.

Declive, can you ask for info?

I'm on it already! He's from Rio!

If you check there's another post I included in the thread where I remarked that he had added the hashtag aerolíneas argentinas to the same picture on Instagram. If we have to spec from that addition it could mean that that team was looking for flights to Buenos Aires.

One last thing: the sighting on Retiro Bus Terminal is from the morning of the 26th. Oval posted the tweet around 8.00am BT and it was dated from 2 hours ago, what means around 6.00am BT. If we consider we have a 2 hours difference with the BT here in Buenos Aires, that means the tweet was posted around 8.00am local time. So we definitely have 2 separated legs on Argentina, one in Buenos Aires and another one in San Antonio de Areco.

The leg's days should make more sense if they were:

Rio
Rio surroundings
BsAs
BsAs

So this looks correct:
22 Jun   Los Angeles
23 Jun   Leg 1: Rio de Janeiro
24 Jun   -
25 Jun   Leg 2: Buenos Aires
26 Jun   Leg 3: San Antonio de Areco
27 Jun   -
28 Jun   Travel
29 Jun   Leg 4: Africa

Luiz's tweet was posted at 5:09pm on 24 Jun 2015.
Aerolineas Argentinas has 2 flights out that afternoon:
AR 1253 from Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery, 1505-1830; and
AR 1257 from Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery, 2020-2345.
(There's a morning flight which wouldn't jive with the "boa tarde" - "good afternoon" - in the tweet.)

The question now is: why would TPTB make the teams arrive in Argentina at night, when they could very well release them early the next morning for a flight arriving in Buenos Aires at around 1pm? Could there have been a task they had to do in the evening?

Keep in mind that these days, team releases from pit stops are done to allow Phil, Bert, and Elise to get ahead of the teams for the next leg, to control when teams would travel to the next city/country/continent, and to time when teams may arrive at one or more of the tasks in the next immediate leg, or the leg following. After that they have to maintain the time separation between teams (with due regard for production time credits and penalties that we almost never hear about any more.)

My other reminder, for now, is that we don't have verification whether there were two legs in either Brazil, Argentina, or both. We can infer any one of those three scenarios may be likely, but we shouldn't be assuming one way or the other.

As to Africa -- last season was the first time, in a long time that TAR had been anywhere close to most of Africa. And there's a logical explanation for this. Some of you may remember that a few years ago, a South African-based locale producer for a number of shows, including TAR, died under mysterious circumstances. He had been the person TAR had been using to produce many of their African legs. It had to have taken time for TPTB to find and vet a new person to use in that capacity; and I suspect that last season's legs in Namibia was the first use of a new person or company in that role. Given the relatively long drought in visits to Africa south of the Sahara, it wouldn't be surprising if we see quite a few seasons now where an African country is back in the mix. It is not proof, but it is a consideration to note in trying to find avenues to check for possible sightings as this season, and future seasons, are filmed.

Can anyone confirm about teams that are still racing or at least have a speculation of who is still in the race?  :)

What you see is what you get - the first posts says everything we know so far (or, at least, all that has been posted here publicly). Speculation in this case would be pointless and would simply turn into wishlist.
