If there was a pit stop in Botswana....teams could have flown from Kasane to J'burg on a scheduled jet. They would not have to have traveled all the way back to Livingstone.

Is it a man or a woman? I was thinking maybe Marianne with her little Phrygian cap (photo source).

Would TAR ever go political in their greeter choice? ???

The person quoted in the tweet as waving is a dancer...if that helps.

Can't it be Leg 6 Zambia -> France -> Netherlands?
Maybe the absence of signs is a sign.

So according to a blog found by Peach, they DID set foot in Zimbabwe via Detour.

I guess that counts as a new country, albeit brief?  :funny:

So they did end up going to Paris after all, as I suspected. I think we see three more countries, two in Asia (two legs for one country) and one in Europe.

Can't it be Leg 6 Zambia -> France -> Netherlands?

I think France is a TBC, and teams travelled overnight to the Netherlands.

Hi! Kinda of back

So from all the live sightings, 1 mm team, 5mf, and 2ff teams made it to Zambia/Zimbabwe.

I going to speculate France was top 7 because seasons 22-26 leg 6 were all top 7.

Great job detectives!!!!!!!! Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paris is definitely a TBC leg, you can see the clue in Phil's back pocket. Plus they were first seen in The Hague less than a day later, suggesting no 12 hour Pit Stop.

Also, looks like the paparazzi made it to Zambia.

Based on the Live Sighting Thread, the paparazzi made it, there is also a pic with a couple that looks like Joey & Kelsey. There was also a sighting of a M/M team with orange bandanas. Could it be Tanner & Josh?

I'm a bit confused now with the remaining teams.

Also, ironic how Jin & Ernest and/or Tanner & James weren't seen, while one of those teams were speculated to have won the EP. ??? The expiration date of the EP might be earlier, but it's just Leg 6. :ascared

No spec...it was very clear from the start that Justin and Diana won the EP  the bike race. Hence their getting the early arriving ATL flight.
They won the starting line task and fell to the back of the pack later to 9th place. The black dancer guys were speculated to have won the leg and the EP but there was no confirmation.

Unless you've found new info that contradicts all of this.

Sorry for the confusion! I mis-posted. Fixed!   :noway:

Oh that's why! Okay thanks! :)

Lots of information! :conf:

If 8 teams were in Zimbabwe, and it is an elimination leg, then 7 teams are expected to be in France.

I think... it would go like this.
Leg 1: Rio de Janeiro - Shevonne & Kelly likely out
Leg 2: Buenos Aires - Alex & Adam or Jin & Ernest out
Leg 3: San Antonio de Areco - Alex & Adam or Jin & Ernest out
Leg 4: Zambia - My guess: NEL (speculation only)
Leg 5: Zimbabwe - Tanner & James or Joey & Kelsey or Chris & Logan or Jazmine & Danielle out
Leg 6: Paris - Likely a ZHPS
Leg 7: The Hague - Anyone

That's based on the information given. Do correct me if I'm wrong somewhere. :)
I love how the route is super spoiled this season. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

I'm sorry but I'm very confused  ???

So it is absolutely confirmed that they went to Zambia and Zimbabwe. What about Botswana and Namibia? Wasn't everyone pouncing on that just earlier today? Did they go to those four countries? Or did they just go to Zambia and Zimbabwe  ???

It appears that in Africa the race went in both Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Zimbabwe for the Cage Crocodile Diving in Victoria Falls Town.
Possibly Zambia for Mukuni Village which I think was in Season 1 (where they took their safari pictures
to get the next clue). Interesting because they had a tough time getting flights to Paris in Season 1.
Wonder how that went this time?
Season 1 the Arc de Triomphe was the pit stop, and seems to play a part this time too.

Since they used the Netherlands to visit India in TAR 4, after India we will probably see either Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, or the Philippines. But they visited Malaysia in TAR24, Philippines in TAR25, Thailand in TAR26, maybe they'll visit New Zealand next. Or who knows maybe Thailand again for a consecutive season. Hoping for a Philippine leg! Jig or Pig US version needs to happen! :funny:

Botswana and Namibia were wrong.

My apology:

The blog mentions Chobe Safari Lodge and A' Zambezi River Lodge (I mistook the name as a simple mention to the first one, with a typo); which I assumed were the same one as it all sounded like Chobe, a Zambezi River lodge...

Chobe Safari Lodge www.chobesafarilodge.com happens to be in Botswana across from Namibia and the true right place, correcty spelled "A'zambezi River Lodge", is in Zimbabwe across from Zambia, 80km East of Chobe.

Our graceful collaborator, "R", happened to have been in both, in two consecutive days, which also helped to throw me off.

She has later explained and clarified to Georgia Peach that everything that she saw from TAR was in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, hence the clarification of the existence and visit to A'zambezi River Lodge. http://azambeziriverlodge.com

They need to find an American Sarah!  :hearts:

With the route so far, they might use Asia for the season's rural Leg(s).  Looks like Zambia and Zimbabwe are the "tropical" legs this season.

Okay. Let's start looking forward from here.

With Phil saying a 21 day race that means either a finale on 7/12 or 13 depending on whether or not you count start day.

So moving eastwards we should have 4 more legs PLUS the Finale Leg. So depending on a 4 team or a 3 team finale we have either 3 or 4 more elims.

With the limited time left...my guess is for a West Coast Finale.(duh) My guess may be a route via Hawaii to Oregon...note the word GUESS.

Where in between?

Had been hoping for Eastern Europe (Hungary?) but time might not allow that...

Still hoping for that false spoiler leg of Melbourne +Tasmania. :funny:

Any place in NZ would also be wonderful.

Bottom line.. anything is possible so keep looking!!
