Pure Speculation and Discussion of Spoilers:

O ye, of little faith, how about...

Day 1 Arrive at Livingstone Airport, race in Victoria Falls, sleep in Kasane
Day 2 Race from Kasane to Kasika and back, then go to Livingstone Airport?

Airport-Victoria 20km
Victoria-Kasane 60km
Kasane-Kasika Across the river and back
Kasane-Airport 80km

I see absolutely no difficulty in doing this and I'm betting this is the way it was.

There's is no way under the laws of Zimbabwe we'd get to  film in the country. Some of you need to read the travel advisory for Zimbabwe that I linked to previously. THere is almost no place in the country where you can film or take photographs without a prior government permit, and they're notoriously difficult to obtain. The show didn't use Zimbabwe in season one when they went to Victoria Falls, and since there was a live sighting I believe of the teams flying into Jo'Berg, to get a connecting flight to the Victoria Falls area, there's no reason for the show to go into Zimbabwe.

Peach's mention of Botswana, suggests strongly that both legs in the Victoria Falls area with a flight to Paris afterwards were a Switchback of sorts to the first two legs of season one. And then going to th Netherlands, I suspect a call back to TAR 4 is in progress, as I think we're due for a return visit to India.

Candi Lee's croc pic is IN Zimbabwe.

You can also see a decal on the car's windshield in Candi Lee's car pic, it says Brusta Motors.

Brusta Motors' HQ are in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Now, just waiting for Botswana, Zambia and (maybe) Namibia pics.

What team is that? ???
Joey and Kelsey.

That could also be Chacattack, right? ??? With that non-matching outfit though, I'm leaning more to Joey & Kelsey.

As for the Zimbabwe part, I'm really confused now. :funny: Along with the Namibia, Botswana part. It's too much in my opinion if they visit 4 countries in just 2 legs, but I don't find anything wrong there.  :funny:

visit 4 countries in just 2 legs...  :funny:

All four countries, clockwise from NE, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia meet at a single point, West of THE Victoria Falls (the natural wonder, not the town) along the Zambezi River and its afluents.

The airport used happens to be in Livingstone, Zambia, just 20km North, away from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (the town) where there was at least one task.

Another task that we know of, took place in Kasane, Botswana, 86km West; this task took them "across the Zambezi River to an orange flag marker and back" in the morning of June 30th.

Straight across the river from Kasane, the only land there is, is the Kasika Conservancy, Namibia.

This is how they may have set foot upon four countries while legs took place, mainly and mostly, in only two: Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Although this seems bazaar going around clockwise probably is smaller than London

Don't forget Angola........it is only about 10-20 miles away. If one wanted, you could visit 5 countries in a morning......

Someone said the other day that Angola is an extremely difficult country to get a travel visa in.

So what........everyone says Zimbabwe is impossible too..........but apparently they went there........Countries change a lot of rules if favorable TV shows want to film.

I'm a bit confused now with the remaining teams.

Also, ironic how Jin & Ernest and/or Tanner & James weren't seen, while one of those teams were speculated to have won the EP. ??? The expiration date of the EP might be earlier, but it's just Leg 6. :ascared

No spec...it was very clear from the start that Justin and Diana won the EP  the bike race. Hence their getting the early arriving ATL flight.
They won the starting line task and fell to the back of the pack later to 9th place. The black dancer guys were speculated to have won the leg and the EP but there was no confirmation.

Unless you've found new info that contradicts all of this.

Sorry for the confusion! I mis-posted. Fixed!   :noway:

5. Kasane & Kasika (Botswana, Namibia)

3. San Antonio de Areco, Argentina - one of Ernest & Jin, Alex & Adam, Tanner & Josh eliminated or non-elimination.
2. Buenos Aires, Argentina - Alex & Adam, Ernest & Jin, Tanner & Josh last spotted, one eliminated.
1. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Shevonne & Kelly likely eliminated

So let's recap here:
Episode 1: Brazil
Episode 2: Argentina
Episode 3: Argentina
Episode 4: Africa, most likely Zambia
Episode 5: Once again, somewhere in Africa, most likely Zambia
Episode 6: France
Episode 7: Netherlands

According to the current route, it looks very similar to TARs 1 and 11. Similar to 1 because of a flight from Zambia to France, and similar to 11 because we spend a few legs in South America following a visit to Southern Africa.

Here's my prediction on these next few legs:
Episode 8: Finland, Russia, or Latvia (I doubt Estonia will be visited again.)
Episode 9: India (long time, no see)
Episode 10: Cambodia or Laos, possibly China
Episode 11: South Korea
Episode 12: Probably Seattle, maybe Portland, Oregon.

Interesting choice of pitstop greeter in Paris (park).  Appears to be dressed in some sort of traditional North African garb.  Could be from one of France's former colonies (ie Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya...), or not.   :grins:   ???

Hunchback of Notre Dame?   :o
