Zimbabwe would be on the blacklist for sure. Under Robert Mugabe, it's not a place for westerners to be.

I'm really curious if the Victoria Falls leg is a Zambia leg, a Zimbabwe leg, or a mix of the both. I bet that this leg will be in Zimbabwe because back in Season 1 when teams visited the waterfall, they raced in Zambia. Maybe crew wondered what it would be like racing in Zimbabwe?

Zimbabwe won't be happening. Have you ever heard of Robert Mugabe? The economy there is in shambles with hyper-inflation of its currency, its default on IMF loans, its open disdain for the United States, and the fact that the United States has imposed various economic sanctions.   In addition, here's a link to the current Safety and Security information on Zimbabwe issued by the U.S.State Department:
http://www.travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/country/zimbabwe.html

After you read that-- Zimbabwe won't be happening on TAR any time soon.

so it is just as likely that Botswana might be used just as it was in season one.

Just how was Botswana used in TAR 1

Question: Does this mean Greece won't be getting a visit anytime soon?

As bad as Greece's economy is, it isn't anywhere as bad as Zimbabwe's. Due to the aforementioned hyperinflation, there are one billion dollar bills, meaning that 100 ZWD isn't worth much at all.

For the second Detour option in Chobe National Park, that no team chose.

Wow! From the photo on the other thread it seems they revisited the first (or second) challenge of the very first leg! The huge bunjee jump that a lot of the season 1 cas were terrified to do.

The picture taken in Paris is located at Place St-Pierre, right in front of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, in Montmartre.

So now they're in Paris, you're likely to get a lot of sightings there.

It appears what they're going for with this route is a nostalgia-filled love letter to the classic single-digit seasons - which is fantastic! But I still hope we get at least one new country.

At first I was like France Again  :gaah:

But Paris is overdue so im exited

So, So Far we think ( Spec )

1. United States > Brazil ( Rio De Janeiro )

2. Brazil > Argentina ( Buenos Aires )

3. Argentina ( San Antonio De Areco )

4. Argentina > Zambia ( Livingstone? )

5. Zambia ( ? )

6. Zambia > France ( Paris )

Or there may just be one leg in Zambia but I doubt it

Well to be fair, last season wasn't really France. It was a "Monaco" leg, but that country is so tiny they couldn't help but cross the border, especially since the airport was on the France side.

The Detour was in France, but I do know that Paris and the Côte d'Azur area are different it's just a bit repetitive but I'm still exited  :hearts:

Awesome!! Thank you TAR789!

You're welcome! :)

And here is the street view for the second Paris photo, located at the intersection of Avenue Marceau and Rue Vernet, near Arc de Triomphe.

So, based on picture Tiffany & Krista, James Earl & Denise and Joey and Kelsey (or is that Denise from wendy's picture--the man behind the blond woman doesn't look like Joey ???) are safe?

So it's Zambia to Paris, continuing the homage to TAR1
