TAR 27 Speculation and Discussion of **SPOILERS**

This thread is the WORKZONE of our spoilers.
 
This is where ALL the spoiler speculation/discussion of the TAR 26 race goes, NOT in the LIVE thread. It is where we try to thrash out what the LIVE sightings mean.
 
 
 
As always, per RFF's practices, we do not spoil the start location (if known) or any teams until it is believed that the teams are safely underway. We would never want to put a team in jeopardy or cause them distress or interfere with the actual running of the race. Info on future legs may also occasionally be protected for those reasons. But if you have info to share beforehand , we would love to know, so please PM or email me! Spoilers are treasured!

 
This thread will be opened once the race has actually begun.

Alright guys, this camera is of Venice Beach. You can move it to the Graffiti Wall with perfect shots of the surrounds (see shot below) - however, it is controlled by each user for only 30 seconds, before you have to wait in line, so the only thing I can suggest is if a group of us work to 'commandeer' the camera so to speak ensuring it stays on the Graffiti Wall, so we can keep a look out, take relevant screenshots and so on.

The difference between this Venice Beach start (27) and the Times Square start (25) is as I mentioned, the California camera is movable to many other angles of the beach, whereas the New York camera had different angles available that could be unmoved. Here, we need to be vigilant to keep the angle at the Graffiti Wall over the many other options - I suggest everyone who could possibly help with this, take a look at the link in my previous post and see what I mean. ALL HANDS ON DECK CHAPS!

Could we also try checking other cameras for angles? I saw one that supports multiple angles facing the beach near the wall, we could see some teams running!

Isn't it great though that TAR has chosen locations with webcams.  I hope that's not a coincidence and is them being very nice for us who can't actually be there in person. Hehe.

 ??? Be careful- the announcement for Times Square was for 3 am EST- Eastern Standard time but we were in summer so Daylight Standard time was in effect- ie, starting time was 2 am. Does the same apply to Pacific Time?

Wikipedia is OK when you want to look up what happened on a past season, but when you're looking for info about a soon to filmed season, it's either made up stuff or things they found on RFF.  :)

There will be snow 1st leg maybe? We had only two in seasons 4 & 6.

That would be great "jump" from the hot beach starting line, I think.
