It's still a possibility the weather could be wreaking havoc on planned domestic legs in Eastern Canada. Heard on the radio today how parts of Quebec and northern Nova Scotia are expecting MORE heavy rain.

It's almost as if the TarGods could be saying "Get out of the country!!"

Yes!!! Thank goodness they eliminated the cringeworthy Youtubers early on. It's not too much to ask for a couple more international legs right?

Why didn't they just go to Corner Brooke and Gros Morne at the start of the race? This route is so infuriating!!!

It's probably because for premieres, they like to have that showy stunt task that looks good in the promotional press. Harder to get that in a small town.

i.e. I expect to be hearing about that highwire walk in Vancouver for a week straight before premiere day (like the Skytram last year) lol

If they aren't going to go international full-time, then they should at least go to different countries not visited previously. It's the least they can do.

St. John's to the West Coast is actually a VERY long drive. Almost 12 hours!!!

PS:The starting line wont be very nice St. John's has rain ALOTTTTTT

So seems the stop is around Gros Morne on the western side of the island, that's actually a great choice for a return to NL!

The scenery speaks for itself. Fjords. This is where they unearthed the only proven Viking settlement in North America.

So Beautiful. This leg's scenery is going to be unreal.

It's just so weird because I was sure they started the race in St-John's, so they could check again the province (because they have not been here in 4 seasons). I don't understand why they would have the starting line AND a leg in a province they have not been in soo long!

Why not start in another city with flights to Toronto? Like Fredericton would have been a good choice (only capital city not yet visited).

At this point, I'm 80% sure Winnipeg is our finale leg (with a 10% chance of Edmonton, or 10% chance one of the Saskatchewan big cities)

Not feeling it for the international legs. Route is really weird for me.

I would have taken Australia, England, UK or Costa Rica. Anything except China honestly; I'm indifferent to Panama.

Yeah, no idea where to expect the finish line to be I've been mapping it out as I did the previous couple of years.

The past seasons went in a general west or east direction, but this route is criss-crossing like a cat's cradle.

Maybe its one of those routes that criss cross and the point with the most intersection is the finish line

I'm not sure how I feel bout Panama.

I know it's a underused country, but come one, please don't use repeated tasks from, TAR29...

And go to Europe, not bloody South America again.

Remember: There still may be a leg in Europe, what if we go Panama-->Europe? or Panama-->Canada-->Europe??
 We haven't fully confirmed there's 11 legs yet either! I can see a MAJOR twist this season because of Canada 150!

--Why didn't they save Ottawa for the finale??? They should have done an entire Gatineau  leg.

I was really expecting Europe. If they really wanted a connection with Canada, the United Kingdom is a better choice  or Europe for that matter...... The route is ridiculous.

I am upset international leg instead asia went to Africa or europe Panama is okay as. Along  as it better than tar29 leg

We've only had 1 European country and that was all the way back in S2. Tar Can needs to see Italy, Germany, Switzerland, UK or Norway. Basically the countries the US overuses -france aha.

I was sure on this anniversary year we'd be getting Europe.

Either UK...well, commonwealth. That's the biggest Canadian connection of all.
Or the Netherlands, who Canada liberated 100 years ago this month, looks like they probably referenced that in Ottawa due to a sighting of Jon in the tulip gardens near the tribute statue.

I'm not feeling the cast tbh. I trust casting did their best to give us the best 10 teams they could find (or not). We'll see.

1,2 and 4 were some of the best casts in the history of the show.

Well, it's hard to judge a cast based on amateur photos. But I have my own preconceived notions of what to expect, yeah.

I.e. #1 looks like they'll be Gino & Jesse 2.0 (cringe). A few of them really look like re-skins of past teams.

I always think that what we see based on spoilers is like looking thru a photographic album, with maybe a bad home silent movie or two thrown in.

But until we really see them in action: speaking, interacting with each other, working (or not) with the other teams, talking to the host...it is almost impossible to get a true sense of what they will be like on the show.

SO let's plan to be surprised in a good way!!
