I'm looking forward to seeing how many Canadians post on social media asking where the Magdalen Islands are when that episode airs. It's a tiny archipelago, so no doubt many have never even heard of it.

No territories :(
I was hoping they'd visit at least one of the territories.
You are the last team to arrive.
This is a Philmination leg, so I'm sorry to tell you that you have been Philiminated from the race.

They went to Whistler...so I wonder if one of the tasks was at the sliding centre?  :funny:
And if Jon doesn't introduce the Whistler leg walking through town, then being handed a pitcher of beer, there may be a lot of angry Canadians! Oh yes!  (:;)

I am pretty sure this is the art installation at Halifax Central Library the teams had to search through. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4mGnKYJpSE&feature=youtu.be

Well that explains that picture of Jon and his wife at the brewery shortly before the race began :)

And the pic she tweeted afterwards, something about Jon having a well-deserved rest. I think they stayed a while in Whistler. LOL

So obviously there are only 12 legs total. With the media release today that confirms it. They said there are 11 pit stop prizes plus a grand prize.

unless there's a double elimination at some point; starting line elimination or halfway through first leg, something like that.

So I have this
Hippie MF made it to leg 1
Purple FF made it to leg 2
Blue FF made it to leg 3
Burgandy MF made it to Leg 4
Brunette MF made it to Leg 5
Old MF made it to Leg 6
Father Daughter MF made it to Leg 7
African Canadian in Dreads made it to Leg 10? Summer land
Blue African Canadian made it to Leg 11? Edmonton
Purple MM Purple Jacket MM and wrestlers MM made it to Leg 12 Whistler

A double elimination is possible but not likely.

According to Survivor Sucks, Max/Elias as you've might them as the "Hippie" team, not seen after leg 1 and eliminated first.

Well there you go everyone. Sorry Max and Elias are not exactly hippies but as the only person to see them on the race course all I could tell from the back was that they both had long hair and they seemed to interact as if they were dating.

Just wondering about the new "Face Off" task...it would be very time consuming for some teams.
Could this be what was going on at the ACC? Not because it was at the ACC (but could be) BUT was it not reported that teams went in, but none were seen leaving? And remember Jon's stand-up at the Toronto Railway Museum, which is very close to the ACC? The witness said "11 teams FACE..." and she couldn't remember the rest.

Don't like the face off element
Say a team in 1st place team falls to last place during the task
The penalty is just excessive

A team in 1st place can fall to last place by doing any Roadblock or Detour. Look at Cormac and Nicole last season. But I do agree about the added penalty. If you are in last place, what's the point?

I also feel bad for Max and Elias as they (probably) got eliminated on leg 1 in their hometown of Toronto!! As a fellow Torontonian I would have wished they made it much further.

'Face-Off' task?? it better be as a detour or road block, not a new stand alone task. Cuz if they are breaking the TAR theme of travel with a hockey task I will be pissed.

And a task at BC Place??? Damn that is 5 min walk from my front  door. That's 2 I have missed, the chinese garden (right across the street) Season 1 and now this one. At least there were some great pics taken of the task.

They have neither said if it is a hockey task nor if it is a one-time task or on every leg. But if it's a one-time thing, I don't have a problem with it being a hockey task. If it is on several legs, I agree!
