Unless teams are still flying to their destination, leg 8 is probably over
[/quote

If they are in New Zealand and not in Auckland then we likely won't know where exactly they are especially if they are doing a rural leg.

Yep, destination unknown.

All I found was a tweet in half-Tagalog (the language of the Philippines) that sounded like she saw Amazing Race at the airport, but she didn't respond when I asked about it.

If I remember correctly, last year we had no sightings for 1 or 2 legs - Normandy and New Brunswick(?), which we later figured out or speculated. So I am not too concerned. Don't worry, we will hear soon enough!

Whoa at Delhi! It somehow came to my mind that they will go to India because they have one of the largest immigrant population in Canada. And we need some chaos in TARCan. haha

georgiapeach, do you know the day that pic was taken? They were last seen at Vancouver after SK. Delhi has direct flights from Toronto only. So there might be a leg missing between SK and Delhi?

another possibility: Vancouver -> Europe (direct flights to London/Frankfurt/Munich) -> Brussels -> Delhi

yeah but don't you think they would have been spotted in london/frankfurt/munich? Those are big cities.

Assuming the recent photo is recent it could be that leg 8 or 9 just finished.
If leg 9, then leg 8 finished with unknown destination.

Also, around leg 8 and 9 about 5-6 teams are left. Hopefully, more photos surface.
Great job peach.

Safe so far

True, but Vancouver > Japan/China/Australia/NZ > Vancouver > Toronto > Delhi doesn't make sense either. Unless they found a way to go from Japan/China/Australia/NZ to Delhi without using Air Canada. Plus, we always get photos from YYZ, and it's weird that we didn't get any if they passed by there.

Regardless, TARCan racers are the most jetlagged out of all franchises.  :funny:

Keep in mind that 2 legs in India would also make good sense.

Im thinking that either leg 8/9 were both India or leg 8 was another remote Canadian destination. Makes much more sense considering Air Canada doesnt have direct flights that go from Oceania/Asia to Delhi. The racers would have to do connecting flights via other airlines.

I can bet Sukhi & Jinder would have loved to be racing there :) Part of their backstory last season was about their grandfather who came from India with very little.

Okay WP says that so far they have not used a codeshare. Apparently if they came back to Toronto there are direct flights to New Delhi daily. So that is another great option to consider.

So leg 9 fly to Delhi via toronto?

Purple jacket mm are the only team safe so far.

If the last couple legs are in Canada, they didn't do a northern leg yet, so I'm kinda expecting one there.

And a finale in Edmonton would make the most sense as it's the last unvisited big city in the west...actually, considering the only other big cities are in Ontario, almost Canada really.

We have at least 2 MM teams in F4??? GREAT. I can't wait for another MM winners.

I found almost funny that we can have none or one female in finale. I do not think that this is what production want.  :funny:

I was JUST going to comment that. It appears both the purple and blue M/M (in black in the new sighting) are still in it. We've yet to even have a M/F in the final 3 :P

Australia got the same in its first 2 seasons.
