Buenos Aires could be the next county or any others with Canadian influence.
I think we will have more international legs this time around

Awesome job finding them, Alenaveda!  :yess:

As for a Canadian connection (which producers said international legs would have), I know Buenos Aires has one, but for Santiago...I'm drawing a blank. So it was kinda unexpected to see them pop up there.
I remember in a Jon Montgomery interview, he mentioned Chile as a possible destination... can't find the link though :(

If they follow the pattern, probably. TARUSA and TARNORWAY did it same way.

There is a road in Santiago named after Canada :P
And Chile is one of the many countries that will be participating in the Pan-Am games in Toronto in July - around the same time that TAR Canada will air.

Checking flights, if destination is Bs. As., teams can fly both to EZE or AEP.

I don't think this is really relevant to anything, but the dance task in Santiago was related to Easter Island culture. They're not likely to go there, but it's cool that they're acknowledging it.

Pure, baseless speculation, but Australia could be potential destination from Santiago that shares a connection to Canada. If they're going down that route, Australia's constitution and model of federation was heavily based on Canada's, the countries share a monarch as well. One of the local councils (counties) in Sydney is called Canada Bay and is named for a group of 58 French Canadian exiles who were exiled to Sydney as punishment for rebelling, and there is a monument to them in the area. There's also a town called Toronto north of Sydney.

It appears they're headed to Buenos Aires after all. Maybe Alenaveda will see something first-hand :)

I expect it'll be a "yo-yo" route like last year, and they'll re-surface at home in the coming days.

As I said before, they can also jump from EZE to AEP and go somewhere else in Argentina.

Looks like 2 new teams in the most recent pictures? The tall man & female partner + the older couple.

Okay, from those pics I see:

1) "older couple" (the pic with the guy looking at camera) is team "Khaki Backpack M/F". We just haven't seen his face before.
2) team "Blue African Canadian M/F" walking through airport.
3) By "tall guy with female partner" do you mean at check-in counter? Is the "tall guy" the sound man? Because I see teams "Blue F/F" and "Neon Yellow M/M"

Ugh! Now I am confused. It's hard to see his face because of the glare, and I may be confusing team Khaki with burgundy. Give me a bit. LOL

Yes, this is team burgendy!!! Notice the shoes (black for him, white and purple for her) and if you look at the market picture, the shoes and pants match, plus the guy looks the same

I am starting to think the teams were specifically told to either purchase blue or burgundyish khaki backpacks.  :gaah:

Here is some speculation as to where they may go after Buenos Aires…
I’m going to presume that they are going to do a leg in Buenos Aires.

Then, assuming they stick to using Air Canada there are a couple of options for getting back to Canada from South America that make sense:
1. Buenos Aires -> Santiago -> Toronto
2. Buenos Aires -> a really long bus ride to Sao Paulo (33 hours) -> a leg in Sao Paulo -> Toronto
3. Buenos Aires ->  a really long bus ride to Rio de Janeiro (40 hours) -> a leg in Rio -> Toronto

Speculating on who is safe after leg 1 based on process of elimination:
m/f   black  team w/ red backpacks
m/f black team w/ blue backpacks
m/m young fit team w/blue packpacks
f/f young fit team w/ blue backpacks
m/m fat guys team w/black backpacks
m/f couple w/ burgundy backpacks
f/f middle eastern purple team

It's very possible, especially since they left Canada leg 2, compared to last year when they left leg 3. Let's see where they go next!

Looks like teams left Santiago on May 6 at 11:30 AM - Wed May-6-2015 on Air Canada 092 (which is really just a continuation of the flight they took from YYZ) and arrived Buenos Aires at 1:43 PM. Then ran some sort of leg in BA.

Can't believe there were no other sitings in BA other than our pit stop photo...

Don't say I didn't tell you:

Don't expect. TAR fan base in Argentina and Buenos Aires is not big enough to give sightings as in other countries.
