Judging by the TAR Can 1 & TAR Can 2 filming start dates,  I can estimate/speculate the following:
= The Race usually starts filming on a Friday, because
  - TAR Can 1 started filming on Friday, May 3rd, 2013.
  - TAR Can 2 started filming on Saturday, April 26th, 2014.

= The Race did not start last week (or at least we don't know about it), so it seems that the race would most likely start on Friday, May 1st, 2015 or Saturday May 2nd, 2015..

NOTE that this is an estimate using judgment from previous seasons and the actual start date is still unknown. My suggestion is to continue searching social media in case we get an actual sighting

Okay, I looked up my files. I must apologize for a previous comment in the other thread where I incorrectly said the 27th. S2 began on Saturday, April 26. They were seen at the Columbia Icefields, and Brewster Travel (the shuttle operators) shut down operations that morning. However, cast and/or crew were seen 1 or 2 days before traveling to Alberta (I can't remember if flight was from TO or not). Sooo, I have to believe they will not go undetected traveling to the start line this year either.

It was the 26th, I made a mistake... I got a bit confused, I will edit my previous post.

That`s the Gaspe Peninsula? I'd love it if they went there, never been up that way.

Look like 12 teams

Angle makes it a little tough to exactly count... but it looks like it's most likely 11 or 12 teams though.
(The first time I counted I got 12 pairs of bags, the second time I counted I got 11)

The picture of the teams running from the start line says 11. Unless I've miscounted.

(Don't mind me chiming in here and there.)
I thought that when we fought, I was to blame
Now I know you play a different game
I've seen you dance with danger; still wanting more
Add another number to the score

I did this quickly to show startline and location of bags. A bit of a run to other side of hotel.

Air Canada flights from Quebec City. Note Sept Iles or Gaspe look most promising. Unless of course they have to connect elsewhere.

I think these are the teams from the three first sightings.

Even though it looks like at least a few of the teams are white, it's actually quite hard to tell the race of some of the people from this far. Wait for closer pictures

Also, yes 12 teams  :yess:
