Can someone else list all the self driving leg in TAR US?

I can only remember New Zealand is the only country that provide self driving every time they visit the country.  :tantrum

TBH, self-driving should be there every single leg. It definitely determines who knows how to navigate, and it really leads to tactics (taking the lead, following other teams...) as well as drama (TAR3 <3 and getting lost, etc).

Hopefully we get more and more self-driving once again.

I agree.

Self-driving is part of what makes TAR so exciting for me. There is always a chance of a team making a wrong turn and ending up in a different country.

I don't agree with self-driving ALL the time though? I think Taxis should be part of it because it's a Race, you have to at least travel through all sorts of transportation! :P

I agree at having more though, especially these past seasons.

Don't forget we have some teams put gas petrol in the diesel car. (TAR 3 Portugal, Adam & Rebecca on TAR 6 Iceland)

I think we sould have self driving in developed countries but in other countries such as India, Malaysia and China we shouldn't because we would miss out on Taxi drama

Let's not forget Season 7, leg 6 in Botswana when Brian and Greg rolled their vehicle when it hit sand. There were OK, but their cameraman was injured. That was an intense few minutes.

I can't believe the Wikipedia page for Season 7 doesn't mention that incident at all.

I think we sould have self driving in developed countries but in other countries such as India, Malaysia and China we shouldn't because we would miss out on Taxi drama

India (even Bangladesh & Sri Lanka) - I think the over crowded and aggressive drivers on the street in these countries was too dangerous for racers to drive unless they have some sort of driving coaches facilitate them to drive the whole leg and teams have to guide direction by their own which is epic to watch. (Think of TAR 10 Chennai Roadblock).
East Asian countries - Kinda sucks that Mainland China government does not allow foreigners to drive in the country.  (:;) In the other way, Hong Kong (Oswald & Danny running out of money after paying the toll, Eric & Dannielle was horribly lost IIRC), Macau (Charla & Mirna drama on the Mini Moke  ), Mongolia, Taiwan (Only TAR Asia did have self driving on that countries IIRC), South Korea (TAR 17 drive to DMZ) and Japan (Kent & Vyxsin was horribly lost on the way to Narita Airport) did allow foreigners to drive in the country. But I think self driving on suburb and rural leg of these countries is more suitable on the urban leg of these countries IMO because the urban leg especially on the HK Islands, Kowloon, Seoul and Tokyo should have fully reliant on great and confusing public transportation system and taxi need to be prohibited to use on these urban cities.

South East Asian countries - Sucks that the over crowded of motorcyclists on the street in SE Asia was too dangerous for racers to drive especially in Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia (I hate that Indonesian taxi/pedicab luck caused 2 teams elimination consecutively on TAR 21 (:;) ).
I think Malaysia is the only country in SE Asia that suitable to have self driving leg (I hate that TAR Asia did have self driving while TAR US did not except Malaysian Borneo.). TAR 24 Malaysia 1 leg should have self driving just like their TAR 4 Malaysia leg, in that case Joey & Meghan will not be screwed badly because of bad taxi luck.
For Singapore, Singapore is more suitable to move around by public transportation (MRT subway and bus) rather than self driving because of Singapore government encourage people to move around by public transportation. Imagine TAR 25 Singapore leg will be more epic if teams are only allowed to move around on subway and bus and taxi is prohibited to use.

I kinda agree that taxi should be part of the race. But the over reliance on taxi especially on these recent seasons caused some uproar and anti climatic moment in the race ESPECIALLY on the final leg. (Tyler & James EZ Pass luck in TAR 10, Jaime & Cara in TAR 14, Brent & Caite in TAR 16, Jill & Thomas in TAR 17, Gary & Mallory in TAR 18, Brenchel in TAR 24)

This is why I was super happy and appreciate that TAR 25 final leg have partial self driving and the boot order was not decided by taxi luck. I think I'll be more excited if the final leg was FULL self driving and teams have to drive them self to the finish line.

Anyone please include the FULL self driving in final leg on your fantasy games since WRP might take some race idea from RFF TAR Fantasy Games or Wishlist thread. (Eg. Final 4 twist)

Self driving in Australia and New Zealand always provide great drama on TV. (Getting lost in nowhere, follow that car drama, getting accident, flat tyres...) :hearts: :yess: :cheer:

OMG Please have 2 legs in Australia and 2 legs in New Zealand (TAR 2 Oceania route redux) on an amazing season like TAR 5 and 25 in future.

with the excluding of leg 1, TAR 21 is the season when the first self-driving car leg(s) occurs latest in leg 10 wịth only 4 teams remained, and Abbie & Ryan is the best performance teams among team isn't driven themselves

Then write Ford a letter. Tell them  how much you appreciated them as a sponsor, and how much they are missed. And that idjits who can't drive stick are NO reflection on them or their cars. And that seeing their cars always impressed you and made you consider them in your next purchase. Maybe we fans can make a difference.

I actually like Madam Secretary. I know it steal TAR slot but this show need some love.  :'(

For the self driving, I think they could easily made the Double African leg this season a self driving had they still have Ford. It will also make the Victoria Fall Sign's RB harder since teams have to make their own navigation.

IIRC this is the vehicle manufacture they use on TAR17.

USA Starting Line - Smart Car
UK - Vauxhall Insignia???
Sweden - Swedish brand car???
Norway - Sweden Ditto
Oman - Toyota 4x4 Vehicle
South Korea - South Korean brand car?

Idk but I haven't seen they use any Mercedes Benz (until TAR16) and Ford vehicle (TAR18-26) on TAR17 self-drive.

Unless WRP budget was shrinking, I don't think they can omit self-drive just because there's no sponsor from vehicle manufacture.
