Was scanning the tube yesterday and caught an episode of FOX TV's crime television series
Gotham.
According to Wikipedia:
Gotham is an American crime television series developed by Bruno Heller, based on characters appearing in and published by DC Comics in their Batman franchise, primarily those of James Gordon and Bruce Wayne. The series stars Ben McKenzie as the young Gordon, while Heller executive produces along with Danny Cannon, who also directed the pilot. As originally conceived, the series would have served as a straightforward story of Gordon's early days on the Gotham City police force. Not bad, but as all the TV critics have already mentioned,
"...it's Batman without the Batman." Bruce Wayne is depicted as a 12-year old boy, but the spotlight is on the development of the "comic book" villains. Even "James Gordon" is not yet "Police Commissioner Gordon" in this timeline.
The first season originally consisted of 16 episodes, but was later extended to a total of 22. Gotham premiered on Fox on September 22, 2014.
It airs Mondays @ 8PM on FOX.
It's visually rich so may watch more episodes. Anyone else into this?
