Would a TAR: New Era vs Old Era work? 4-5 teams from pre-UB (or even pre-AS1) who haven't raced a second time vs 6-7 teams from post-UB who haven't raced a second time?

Or:
4 teams pre AS1 (never raced twice)
4 teams from 12 - 17 (never raced twice)
4 teams from 18-26 (never raced twice)

Though, I suppose I could have included a different team (i.e honorable mentions: Adam and Bethany, Misti and Jim, Nathan and Jennifer, Andy and Tommy, Denise and James Earl, Connor and Jonathan, Shelly and Nici)

Although 13 teams is a bit of a stretch, I strongly believe this would be a VERY tough and smart cast, if not the most competitive ever if actually casted. Each team had their own unique dynamic and competitive edge that greatly contributed to the excitement in their own respective seasons. A good mixture of fun, villainous, cutthroat, fast, and strategic teams. What do you guys think? My first post too

How this cast stacks up:

- Kelly & Shevonne: the only way I see it is if they film TAR: Heroes vs Villains right after finishing 28 and none of the female teams from 28 are villainous AND they don't just bring Natalie and Nadiya back.

- Alex & Adam: they're fun and all but no sorry :/

- Ernest & Jin: actually pretty high lol. This show loves slotting in a token minority team and they have the benefit of being likable AND telegenic AND vaguely famous AND with an easily exploitable tragic backstory AND were unexpectedly eliminated early.

- Jazmine & Danielle: yeah, no.

- Cindy & Rick: were present for all of five minutes so nope.

- Tanner & Josh: while I feel the show might have an obligation to bring them back after that broken Speed Bump that disguised how cheap they were, they benefit from being a good M/M team that made it far without being dominant and actually had screen time. I'm hesitant to say yes for reasons that will become obvious but...yes.

- Denise & James Earl: we'll see what the future holds regarding casting but for now yes.

- Tiffany & Krista: wasted their time unpacking back home (also yes)

- Chris & Logan: yes HOWEVER as alternatives to Blair & Hayley or Brooke & Robbie (basically I would want two trainwreck "couples") cast and they're my least favorite of the three

- whatshisface & Diana: If they do another returning player season watch them be That One Team whose omissions glaring and yet, not really a big deal (c.f. BJ & Tyler not camera hogging, Toni & Dallas not boringly worsening UB, most of the speculated cast of That One Season dodging a bullet). If they do go back I suspect they'll be Romber of a new decade and get hosed in a "LEVEL FIIIIIIVE" style footrace with...probably Any & Maya or Brooke & Claire.

- Kelsey & Joey: while I would absolutely LOVE to see them being those hats with their names back...who are they? (Probably winning 27 lol)
