Personal Team Rankings:
1.
Kym & Alli - I really wonder what the last 3 legs would have been like with them in it
Leg 9 was a really bad time to come in last
2.
Amy & Maya - Practically invisible for the first half of the Race, but their edit picked up and I somehow started to appreciate their presence
Maya carries the team for entertainment/speed, and Amy carries the team for the mental stuff
3.
Brooke & Robbie - Thought they were a really funny team. I would be fine if they came back for a returning teams season.
4.
Adam & Bethany - I enjoyed them, even though they were really boring... But in the small bits they got, I found them enjoyable.
5.
Misti & Jim --- really loved this Final 5, not gonna lie --- aww, I actually felt kind of bad for them in the end. Misti is a sweetheart and Jim is okay
6.
Keith & Whitney - I really think they could have been a strong team, maybe even frontrunners. They just had to get into that "argument" with Shelley & Nici (which was really pointless and I'm on Keithney's side for that one)
7.
Shelley & Nici - Loved watching their mother/daughter relationship and their screaming.
8.
Lisa & Michelle - They gave me Kelly & Christy vibes for some reason. F/F team that's... fierce
9.
Tim & Te Jay - I was expecting them to be clones of Joey of Joey & Meghan. But they were really... boring. They were either not featured enough or the editors didn't have a lot of material to work with for them
10.
Michael & Scott - Thought they were okay to watch. Sucks that the injury came in and sucked the enjoyment/hope out of them basically.
11.
Dennis & Isabelle - "#TheDatingCouple" explains it all.
Leg Rankings:
1.
Leg 5 (Morocco) - Loved this episode. Even though it took place in a small area, it delivered lots of chaos and shuffling in team placements. A good Speed Bump, a good Active Route Marker, a good Roadblock, a good Detour, even a Double U-Turn (which, unfortunately, had zero effect) = Perfect
2.
Leg 9 (Singapore) - Such an intense episode with risks (to go for the Fast Forward or not to go) and drama (Wrestlers vs. Scientists
) and another U-Turn with zero effect... Sad elimination at the end. As for the tasks, they weren't that great, but the teams really delivered.
3.
Leg 4 (Sweden/Denmark) - Great tasks with an unexpected outcome
4.
Leg 11 (Philippines) - The penultimate leg has never been so nail-biting for me, chaotic.
5.
Leg 12 (Los Angeles) - Thought the tasks were really boring to watch, up until the final memory Roadblock. imo, we were saved by a good final task and good outcome. If we didn't get either of those, this would have sucked, not gonna lie.
6.
Leg 10 (Philippines) - Okay Detour and loved the Switchback. I didn't care that it came down to luck - as it was a NEL anyway. A [not-so-close] footrace in the end as well, this season was lacking in those tight finishes.
7.
Leg 8 (Malta) - Okay tasks, predictable ending
8.
Leg 3 (UK) - Okay Detour, enjoyable Sheep task
9.
Leg 7 (Italy) - Boring, but not the worst
10.
Leg 1 (U.S. Virgin Islands) - The 3-team race to the finish saved this underwhelming first leg (I keep saying this: but the teams still delivered anyway
)
11.
Leg 2 (UK) - Boring
12.
Leg 6 (Morocco) - I literally don't remember this leg.
