I was looking through Twitter and came across this tweet:

New blog post : http://rinaz.net/2014/10/pechino-express/ … Italian version of The Amazing Race in Singapore!

Interesting! So I went to http://rinaz.net/2014/10/pechino-express/. I found a fairly detailed story with lots of pictures about the show Pechino Express. It sounds like an Italian clone of Pékin Express. Pechino is Italian for Beijing. Traveling frugally, having to get help from the local people to move forward in the race, etc. At first glance it may not be as hardcore as Pékin Express. It was in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur while Pékin Express (in my limited exposure) has gone to rural areas more than large cities. It appears that Pechino Express has already run 6-7 episodes and have 2 left before the end of the season. I don't know if there were any earlier seasons.

I'm at work and can't explore this further right now. So the details are up to others to dig up, unless I can later. I did find the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PechinoExpress. More pictures there and more info in Italian. I haven't tried to translate it yet. Also, they have a web page at http://www.pechinoexpress.rai.it. I haven't explored that much at all.

This also appears to solve one of my mystery sightings from last July in Kuala Lumpur, though I didn't see the woman in the picture in the Pechino Express pictures.

For information, the french version of this reality tv show is deleted after 10 seasons due to low ratings.

Apparently Pechino Express is currently filming their next season in Ecuador.

#PechioExpress rodaje en Ecuador de la versión Italiana de the amazing race. #CineYTvDeMiVida #DiarioVer https://instagram.com/p/30FlNTzPOf/
8:22 PM - 11 Jun 2015

This translates to

The Italian version of the Amazing Race is filming in Ecuador.

I can't capture instagram images but it shows a man standing in front of a Pechino Express Banner, what looks like a red photo shoot backdrop area with several cameras set up and 2 packbacks labelled "Roberto" and Fariba".

The Facebook page and rai.it homepage for the show don't show any updates since I posted the above last fall.

Here's a possible sighting of some version of TAR filming in the Philippines. If it's real, I don't know if it's TAR Israel, but they are the only version filming now that I'm aware of. I've asked for more information in English. All his tweets are in Filipino, so I don't know if he will respond.

I haven't heard of Amazing race Italy, so I'll post this here thinking that it could be TAR Israel. Unless it's some version of Pekin Express.

CLSU may be Central Luzon State University, which is nearby both mentioned locations.

I'm not present in the Philippines actually, but I'm currently on vacation here in Japan as a tourist. I did not know there are sightings in TAR Israel visited my country.

Another apparent sighting though I can't tell where she's located. She did have a picture of a blonde woman with a red backpack carrying a baby goat apparently asking the driver of a car some questions. The woman tweeting was apparently a passenger in the car. Also another picture of 2 racers in front of a sign that says Central Luzon State University. Not sure if we need permission to post the pictures so I've forwarded it Peach.

Well, some who aren't aware of this version would see this version and just assume they're American.

Israel? I thought we saw this team in NYC.

Ang daming Americans sa CL. Live telecast. Amazing race. :D Katuwa lang.
12:05 AM - 21 May 2017

There are many Americans in CL. Live telecast. Amazing race. : D Katuwa only.

I'm assuming that CL means Central Luzon. @GladSheet lists their location  as Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, which is in the same province as the other sightings.

I am a native Tagalog speaker and so I can translate it to English.

We were asked if we allow them to accompany somewhere, because our vehicle is full! Oh its so bad.

Nice to see HaMerotz in the Philippines. And carrying pigs around city streets? Fun! Also nice to see them in a non-major touristy province.

Ah! Might be Pechino Express?  :D Either way, nice to see the Philippines visited.
