As for the number of legs domestic vs international...let's see who the sponsors are, and if Air Canada is still a major one. If they keep to the same schedule as last year, sponsors were announced in March. This should get interesting.
As for legs in the U.S., there is absolutely no reason why they wouldn't. John Brunton has stated publicly that international legs will highlight a Canadian connection, and the U.S. is right up there with France and the U.K. Maybe even more so. I can see them going to the border states, Boston, Washington D.C. or even New Orleans.
Places in Canada: Edmonton, Saskatoon, Yellowknife (only 1/2 leg in S1), Labrador, the Laurentiens/Saguenay, Trois Rivieres, Gaspe.
I suspect or am hoping for a Maritime start, and a Prairie finish line...anywhere except Ontario, please.
