Cap 39 is Ashley & Jarrod in Argentina. The house on the right is similar to the ones on the suburban areas of Buenos Aires and the car's tapestry is usually seen in cabs here.
Definitely Argentina, Oval.
Barbershop: article here, streetview here.
New promo up here.
Quote from: ovalorange on September 10, 2014, 05:36:20 AMNew promo up here. CAPS: Note that car shots all show different clothing from Dubrovnik. Also Dubr is a nighttime Pitstop, which does not match the first promo's Mat...so that one must be Argentina and since everyone looks relieved...could it be NEL?? And boys are not seen after barbershop in THIS promo...
And another...km6014 Amazing Race on Great Ocean Road! #victoria #photoaday #365project 3hkm6014 #amazingrace #almostfamoushttp://instagram.com/p/mKJ9vfoLKT/
The only Fast Forward in the series calls for an act of devotion that leaves a lasting impression.
What is the haircut task??Could it be the RB and the reason the shown teams all arrive so late at the Mat (dark) is they took penalties?
So....this a KOR leg? And the Pitstop in Argentina could be NEL? Or what??
What caps show that they arrive at night? I think that teams arrive in Dubrovnik at night (stone carrying) and the leg continued into the day (either like the Lisbon Leg from this season or similar to the penultimate leg in Prague from TAR15).
And all these caps:50515253545556...are also from the St. Lawrence Fortress:
Awesome job, Alen! So...if Dubr St John's Fortress is not a nighttime pitstop, then maybe the Leg does start at night and continue thru the day just like Bookworm said? All these daytime shots apparently NOT in Dubrovnik but in diff clothes in Argentina have me confused.
Need to be on the lookout for a speedbump this leg. These are the only two shots we have of Ash/Jarrod in Croatia during the day.. notice the guy in the first cap tying a bow tie. Maybe watch a demo and then Jarrod attempting it on Ash?
Celebrating historical ties in DubrovnikBy KIERAN MEEKEKieran Meeke –Celebrating historical ties in DubrovnikLike many of you, I lament the loss of the cravat. Not quite wearing a tie, not quite a slob, you have the best of both worlds: casual while being elegant. But did you know a tie is a cravat – ‘tie’ merely referring to the fact the cravat is knotted at the collar? And ‘cravat’ is a corruption of the word Croat, Croatian mercenaries are the ones to thank for introducing to the rest of Europe in the 16th century the fashion of men wearing a piece of lace about their necks.Well, I did not know these things – until I came to Dubrovnik, where it’s quite a big deal. In fact, every October they have a Day of the Tie when they celebrate the iconic neckwear and decorate several prominent statues with their own large-scale versions.http://metro.co.uk/2008/06/27/celebrating-historical-ties-in-dubrovnik-223564/
Cap 45 is here; note that this is where the kayak people sign up the tourists, so the racers must be heading down to the beach.
Daniel & Ryan start at 7:51am.Fly to DUBROVNIK, CROATIA! Once there, teams will find their next clue at ? Gate.
