i wouldnt want to go there if there was half a woman with an umbrella in the ground
Looks like a "Philadelphia Experiment" situation there. Time travel experiment gone horribly wrong. :funny:

The Demon Chef is Alvin Leung. He is a judge on Masterchef Canada (the nasty, Gordon Ramsey type), also a CTV show. His restaurant is Bo Innovation in Hong Kong and he has been known to cook food inside an edible condom. You read that right.  :lala He calls his style X-treme Chinese and fusion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alvin_Leung

This is going to be bleeping awesome!!!  :funny:

So what happened to the U-Turn. Maybe it was in Macau and not in HK.  ???

It was Hong Kong because the street team got photos lol.

The photo I've seen Sukhi & Jinder were U-Turned. Or was there any other photo?

Both teams who were U-Turned had already passed it, thus there'd be no drama or effect on the standings. This could have had something to do with Natalie & Meaghan's decision to use the Express Pass now.

It's kind of a shame they had to cut it out since now we're likely only going to see one U-Turn this entire season (wherever the second one was) :(

No Villain Beating, I don't think it was ever a task. The detour was between Kung Fu and Masterchef. The ferry to Macau will be in the next ep.

Any thoughts on how Rex and Bob were able to call Hong Kong from Vancouver?

I thought they traveled without their own money, credit cards, etc.

They cannot bring cell phones, but they can use them.

The greeter in this episode is Jennifer Tse (Xie Tingting in Mandarin), an actress and model. She is Nicholas Tse's sister.

Her boyfriend is Andy On, the host of The Amazing Race China (Shenzhen version).

Probably teams got a "Caution: U-Turn ahead in one of their clues" and it was edited out and that's why hockey chose to use the Express Pass. they said "we don't know how long the Detour would take". I'm almost certain they edited out something about how somebody from the other detour could finish first and U-Turn them.

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I couldn't believe I have missed the clue box at the golden dragon statue. It is right outside my window at home. :/

It may not be very relevant. But here is a list of route markers before and after the unaired U-Turn.
Golden dragon: 22.276320, 114.180482
Kung Fu Detour: 22.281267, 114.176702
Shopping Detour: 22.276736, 114.170952 (restaurant); 22.274563, 114.173862 (market)
U-Turn location: 22.279323, 114.181376

The U-Turn location is a bit off the route. Teams had to travel west to do the Detour, then back to the east for the U-Turn, (then west again to do the other Detour if U-Turned), then west again to the snake shop for the Roadblock.
Trust me, traffic is really bad on a Saturday morning in Wan Chai. If you are U-Turned, you would have lost a lot of time only on traffic. I wouldn't be surprised that they have used their EP if they were indeed U-Turned.
