Somehow I don't like when the production uses hashtag (e.g. #SoulSurfers, #CollegeSweethearts, etc.) below the team's names instead of the usual team's relationship.

I actually find it very cute, but I would prefer if they don't give them some dumb hashtag like "#SoulSurfers". Why can't Lisa/Michelle be "#RealtorSisters" instead of "#MiamiRealtors"? It makes them sound like friends instead of sisters. Same goes for Kym/Alli, #UrbanBikeRiders is much better than #TheCyclists by a long mile. Hell, why not make Keithney #TeamSurvivor and Amy/Maya #FoodScientists instead?

I really hope the editors don't use the hashtags for the sacrifice of showing the teams' actual relationships in the show. I found the constant hashtag cards at the bottom of the screen in the past few seasons extremely irritating.

The issue with Frankfurt is never do a tight connection. Even if flights are on-time you need 90 mins minimum between flights.

How about the TAR17 Leg 4 from Accra, Ghana to Kiruna, Sweden which the flight connecting at Frankfurt? Don't forget KevJumba, Gallory, Nat & Kat, Brook & Claire taking the earlier flight to Sweden by having 1 hour layover only and they able to make it.

If the hashtags are more fun I would like them, but TAR made very meh and okay hashtags that really don't say anything or get me excited.

I think hashtags like #SweetScientists are ok. But I'll rather they use #DennisAndIsabelle or what rather than #TheDatingCouple, which is really lame.

For me, the hastags are fine (though I am not keen on using the hashtag myself). But the words they use after the hashtags are the problem. Some are a bit eye-roll-ey . Though some of them like #TheDatingCouple are inescapable.

I'm glad that they are using the full intro still, and I think they're not showing Phil officially checking them in to save time since they still have 10 teams to cover. I think it would lighten up by the time there are 7-6 teams. Does anyone else think that Amy & Maya are a bit out of focus so far?

It's okay. Nat and Kat were out of focus from the beginning as well (or the entire season).

Josh and Brent's story only started picking up mid-season as well.

Yeah, Nat & Kat were going to stick around for awhile, so it was fine to keep them out of focus while other teams who didn't last as long got airtime, then give them more airtime as they got towards the end.

Right now, I like most of the teams.  However, I'm neutral on Brooke & Robbie, mainly because they're relatively incompetent.  And I dislike Misti & Jim -- more Jim than Misti.  Jim's attitude rubs me the wrong way.  And it probably rubs a lot of people here the wrong way too.  I don't want this team to win.
