Crazy idea, what if the Save is used like the Salvage Pass and used on Leg 1?

I would also speculate that maybe if you use the Save, you have to do a Speed Bump next leg for coming in last on what would technically become a non-elimination leg.
Yeah I think that's a good idea of how it works.  Since a Speed Bump would be hard to come up with for every leg, they might just do an Automatic U-Turn or Marked for Elimination?
I do hope they come up with a new Non-elim penalty.  Have them pick out of a hat or something.

I actually think that London will be the second leg. It's overdue for a visit, certainly.

From there, it's a quick train ride to Paris, which is itself a quick train ride from many other interesting destinations.

I hope London is just a connection, as the UK was JUST VISITED.
I hope so too.

Did we ask for more switchbacks at the CVWTS Thread?
Because if we did, I'm spec'ing that we will have sandcastles and watermelons for Virgin Islands and UK respectively.
Those are 2 of my favorite tasks of all time. :hearts:

Edit: Aside from those above, those 2 tasks are also very memorable. Who forgot Brook & Claire? And on what happened to Claire on her first roadblock? ;)

If they do visit London (and it's not just a connecting city), I hope they visit the City of London, which is a city inside the London we know ;) I don't think they visited it before.

From Wikipedia:
Quote
The public start also revealed that instead of the Express Pass, teams would be awarded a new immunity from elimination pass for coming first in the first leg, which can be used by that team if they come in last place on an elimination leg before Leg 9.

No EP this season? :o  :hug?: Or unreliable info?

The SAVE is MUCH MORE than an Express Pass, IMHO. It is true that an Express Pass can make you win a leg. But imagine now that everybody is on an earlier flight, and you haven't got the chance to make it. Don't worry, you're not going home! Just finish the leg, and someone else will be eliminated. That is something that an Express Pass is useless at.

They did a leg in Shannon, Ireland back in TAR 12. They haven't been to Dublin yet.

I know the save is very powerful, but I'm wondering if they took away the EP or not. Because even if the save is more powerful, I still want to see the EP, even if it's just one this season.

Paris isn't quite enough, and Belgium is no chance to visit due to this week's G7 summit to be held in Brussels. London is good for a full leg, and Finland is most likely next after London, with the previous visit have never had a Pit Stop, and had not had a full leg back in TAR10. I doubt Helsinki will be going next.

The possibility there are nonstop flights from London to Helsinki.

Today is the June Bank Holiday so it would be extra busy in Dublin, with the long weekend. Of course this could also be an attraction but I'm not sure!

i thought switchback task meaning same task & same location. so there is no way we will see sandcastles task. Besides, it was season 22 (3 seasons ago). I think it's too close for switchback task (Hay bale was season 6 & 15 and pole vault was Season 12 & 21)
If there is a switchback and they visit London, we might have watermelon task, which is one of my favorite roadblocks  :yess:

We're not sure about Kym & Allie right? They seems to be on Kinsman Hodge's FB photos but it is difficult to talk.

They are there yes. Backpacks match girls waiting in line. Only team not spotted heading into Leg 2 is Lisa & Michelle, sadly!

June bank holiday weekend in Ireland, what a perfect time to visit. Lots to do in Dublin, but Cork is also a possibility. Also Cork airport is an international one so plenty of options for flights out.
