Looks like Paris is the next stop.
This could bring up some interesting airport drama - there is one flight from Montreal and another from Toronto:

Dep                   Flight               Dep Time  Arr Time
YYZ Toronto    AC 880 Air Canada    8:30 AM    9:15 AM    T-2A    Landed 45 min late
YUL Montreal   AC 870 Air Canada    9:35 AM    9:42 AM    T-2A    Landed On-time

I found so weird that they are out of Canada, again.

If anyone is wondering, the Speed Bump is on the famous building "Centre Georges Pompidou"

This is quite an interesting route, basically this season's going to be half-Canada, half-international. As long as Hong Kong and Macau weren't the only international legs, I'm happy :)

Here is what I'm thinking for the route:

Leg 1: Calgary to Victoria
Leg 2: Tofino, BC
Leg 3: Hong Kong
Leg 4: Macau
Leg 5: Yukon
Leg 6: Winnipeg, MB
Leg 7: ?? (Somewhere exotic? Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico?)
Leg 8: ?? (Somewhere exotic or Europe?)
Leg 9: Paris (Now)
Leg 10: Montréal?? (lots of Paris to Montréal flight for a big city finale)
Leg 11: ?? (More team, more legs?)

Is there also the possibility that we DO have 11 teams, and that we missed one on the first leg (and they got eliminated early?)

The route format isn’t all that surprising. Remember that TAR Canada is sponsored by Air Canada, which is why they are flying out of Canada to a destination that AC serves directly and then back again to Canada.
Air Canada is only allowed to have international flights that originate or end in Canada, so AC can’t fly from e.g. Paris to London.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedoms_of_the_air#Fifth_freedom

Looks like they took a ferry from Hong Kong to Macau.
They could always take a train to somewhere else in Europe - i.e. London via the chunnel. I would bet on them traveling by train to one of AC’s other European destinations like Brussels, Zurich, London, Munich, Frankfurt, Geneva.

So the picture of the assumed speedbump in Paris looks like Rob and Ryan in the red shirts.. exciting and now nerve racking to know if they overcome the speedbump.

Anyone think that U-turn board looks strange in Stockholm? With that big board in the middle, it might be Must-Vote U-turn?

Probably their own version of it...
This is probably the final 5 leg... can't imagine a u-turn available to decide who goes to the F3...

Leg 7: ??
Leg 6: Winnipeg
Leg 5: Yukon
Leg 4: Macau
Leg 3: Hongkong

The U-turn board in Hong Kong is the normal one so...

I don't think there was enough time for 2 legs between Winnipeg and Paris.

Winnipeg was May 10 then they were last seen At Pearson on the 11th. They were seen in Paris on the 14th which could have been the end of that leg.

Anyone willing to predict the final 2 legs?
I am thinking New Brunswick and PEI as the finish line. I keep thinking about Dairy Queen being named a sponsor, and the world's busiest DQ is in Charlottetown. So similar to Cadbury in T.O. last year.

Besides that, Charlottetown would be a great place to end it, because it's where Canada was born (like Philadelphia to the US)

Yes, that makes complete sense. If the show's big sponsor is Air Canada then we probably wont see a true flying 'around the world' race. But that doesn't matter. If they have to come back to Canada during the race, then leave the country again is more than alright and better than just staying completely in Canada.

I am fingers crossed that Rob/Ryan survived the speed bump leg in Paris!

Lots of places to go there! I am sure production is well aware of the disappointment last year that was voiced in the Maritimes.

Any possibility of going to the US for the penultimate leg? They could fly with Air Canada and connect in Canada before going off to the US.

Apparently the sightings in Helsinki are TARIsrael, and they have the same 2X U-Turn board as the one seen in Stockholm. At least we'll always have Paris. LOL

Whenever I thought of a Canadian version of Amazing Race going outside Canada, there are two spots that always came to mind:

. . .

France - Specifically, Vimy Ridge. I would like anyone, anywhere, to try and argue for a more emotional and significant Canadian landmark outside of Canada. Would make for a great "Moment of Reflection" part of the Race.

Vimy Ridge is less than a two hour drive from Paris. Complete speculation though as there is no proof of sightings. It would depend on how much time between the sighting at the YYZ Airport and the Speedbump in Paris there actually was. Time for another leg? Maybe to the UK, with a self drive to Paris including a stop at Vimy Ridge along the way? Again, complete and total speculation.

Wherever TAR CA travels internationally I think there will be some sort of tasks related to Canada - so Vimy Ridge would be a great choice. I was also thinking Dunkirk or Ghent (Treaty of Ghent).
They are not far from 3 gateways back to Canada. London (via the tunnel), Paris (train) or Brussels (train) all have direct Air Canada flights back to Canada.

If they stay with mostly Canadian Destinations, they got to have a train travel sometime, a trip through the Rockies would be nice

After looking at the timeline, what's the point of flying to Hong Kong then back to Canada then back out to France? Surely there's a country inbetween these stops.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just country hop after each leg? like the American edition does? Instead of flying back to Canada before the final leg lol
