Those balls remind me of the Zorb balls (from season  5 in New Zealand), in fact these look like miniatyre Zorbs.

Are we even sure there is a SpeedBump? When the girls arrived at the mat and Phil announced that it was a NEL he didn't say anything about a speedbump, which is a little unusual.

This is not unusual, recently the editors have been omitting the warning for a Speedbump since most viewers are already aware of it, the same way Phil stopped explaining what a Detour and Roadblock are.
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Does this even fit anywhere?

I think in Orvieto there was another task that got edited out just before Pitstop... Something about a clue down a hole?

Yep...the well. :(

Odd they are promoting things they know darn well by now are not included in the edit. Someone is not doing their homework.

The thing is that this press pic is from the first RI at The Alameda

From there teams were instructed to make their way to the RB location

What doesn't make sense with this press info is the location of the Plaza América, that is beyond the Pit Stop in Plaza de España:

Btw, the locations of the Detours and the Double U-Turn are in the area between the Roadblock and the Pit Stop.

I remember watching the teams coming from the south of Plaza de España... so maybe after U-Turn board? just before pitstop?
Can't remember if we saw the teams reading the clue or if it was a voice over like the Pitstop clue in Orvieto

Just checked and Dave & Connor, open the clue after U-Turn board, cut to Phil talking about Plaza de España cut to Dave&Connor leaving the U-Turn board with a voice over from Dave saying "Plaza de España", his lips on-screen are open but they are not saying it.

Check this:

The background definitely looks like a park, not that the place where the U-Turn was located:

One of  the bonus videos shows Jen/Caro riding in a carriage talking about the W-turn board and that they were shocked that the Afghans had U-turned the Cowboys. The broadcast made it appear that teams were required to walk to the pit stop from the W-Turn board.

On twitter Caroline said that they were not penalized for not walking to the pit stop, because all the teams had to ride in the carriage. So it looks  like teams rode the carriage from the WTurn sign to the last RI clue point, then walked to the Pit Stop.......lots of crazy editing in that episode.

Plaza de America, looks like is full of bushes with different colored flowers... so it makes sense the carriage was from U-Turn board to Plaza de America.

BTW, is it really entertaining to watch the teams sit for like 30 minutes in a horse drawn carriage, beautiful victory lap... sure... but for the amazing race pace? doesn't make much sense...

This feels like this was some kind of celebration for the teams, to enjoy the ride and relax for a bit....  :)

Yeah, that's why some people wonder why Country girls did not get penalty because they used the carriage to go to the Pit Stop.

Yes, specially because there's only 1.1 km. distance between both places  :snicker: .
