Kind of glad this season is currently MIA and also has a lack of spoilers! The F5 spoiler in Canada was a bit too much! But I guess that's what this forum is for

We haven't really had many photo sightings just word of mouth sightings which is exciting in it's own right. I'm crossing my fingers that we get 6 continents since it sounds like they've visited all of the 5 continents from the last two seasons and only South America remains uncharted.

We have confirmation of Argentina. We have a 6 continent race. Will they make it 7?

I wouldn't take the Las Vegas sighting as legitimate, based on timing and the sighting in Portugal, I honestly don't think they went to North America... but you never know! So far we have:
Cambodia
Thailand
Namibia
Russia
Portugal (would fit in very well between Russia and Argentina)
Argentina (production will probably make use of LAN's Buenos Aires to Auckland's flight (that still exists right? CMIIW!) to get teams back to the motherland! Very exciting route if you ask me :)

Still flying. But there's also the alternative from Santiago de Chile.

So from the clue that was posted it looks like it will indeed be Australia vs New Zealand.

My guess it that they will have 5-6 teams each instead of 10 teams from Au and 1 or 2 from NZ

Which is a pretty good ratio. I reckon we may see 12 teams. I would be ecstatic if we got 13 legs as well.

It's a good ratio if you're a kiwi  Don't get me wrong, I only really love the teams based on their personality... but when you have 4 million vs 21 million people, one would think there'd be more interesting Aussie teams. For this theme, I just hope they didn't cut an interesting Aussie team for a boring NZ one to fill a quota or vice versa... though it would be stupid not to have six/five teams from each country for Aus vs NZ :funny:

I wouldn't get too excited about such ideas, this is channel seven's first season doing this. I'm honestly surprised they've decided to choose the farflung locations they have, I expected a cheaper version with closer locations to Aus/NZ.

Also wanna say that I love that new clue... looks a lot cleaner than the old one!

I am not a fan of the new clue (the words are too close together), I liked the more spaced out version that they used for season 1&2.

I also have to say that it should be interesting to see teams negotiate the language barrier in some of these countries.

Where is this new clue everyone's talking about? I can't find it :(

Ignore that earlier post, I never even looked in the Live Sightings thread before posting that.

As for the clue, I don't really see much of a change apart from the obvious addition of "Australia v New Zealand".

I wouldn't be surprised if the route went Australia -> Asia -> Africa -> Europe -> N. America -> S. America -> Australia for the 6 continent race.

I wonder where they are at the moment! I'd imagine we'll hopefully get sightings at the final destination city.

So maybe one M/M team (black/grey) and one M/F team (orange) makes it to the end.

As do I! A pretty cool one! I wonder where exactly they finish and where they came from for the penultimate leg.

Would sort of tie in with the Ayers Rock startline. I can see that.

So we have an Ayers Rock start line, Known asia legs in Cambodia and Thailand, At least one leg in Nambia, Two known legs in Russia and Portugal, one known leg in Buenos Aries and the finale in Victoria. that accounts for 7 legs, I'd imagine we'll be getting 12 legs again so there are 5 unknown locations

There is quite a gap between the Portugal leg and the Buenos Aries which makes me think we'll get a leg or two in the US or North America in general. Also a gap between Buenos Aries and the final leg so we could possibly get another leg in South America.

So far I am LOVING this route. Some good locations and I'm still crossing my fingers for a country that is entirely new to the franchise.

I think Nambia will be a double leg, I could see Portugal having 2 legs and another country in America (North or South)

Also just for reference when was TARAuVNz filming and when did the Russia/Ukraine issue escalate. I could see production possibly cancelling a leg in Russia for safety reasons.

So far I am LOVING this route. Some good locations and I'm still crossing my fingers for a country that is entirely new to the franchise.
I doubt we will see a new country to the franchise as there is very limited amount if any of countries that are yet to be visited.
