If the sighting from the Philadelphia airport I just posted a while ago is correct (and that seems a BIG IF), then it implies a few things. First of all, TAR Aus 3 probably isn't going to Europe or if they did, it was just for one leg (doubtful). There was time for one leg since they were spotted in Namibia. There are a few possibilities. One, it could be they had another leg in Namibia, somewhere they had to fly to, probably the Skeleton Coast. Second, they could have had a leg elsewhere in Africa. Third, as I mentioned, they could have had one leg in Europe, probably in a major transportation hub - Paris, London, Frankfurt? Finally, since they were seen at the Philadelphia airport and presumably waiting for a flight, they could have had a leg in Philadelphia a couple of days ago. I think we would have seen some sightings from that though, even if they were having a snowstorm. I checked and if they were coming from Namibia to Philadelphia on the fastest flight combination for a Sunday evening/Monday morning, they would have switched planes in, wait for it, Peach, Atlanta.
Overall, the timing of this sighting doesn't seem right to me. It's too soon.
