Hello RFF! :waves: New member here. Been following TAR since season 3 and started lurking in this forum since TAR 24 and decided to sign up for an account a few months back. Are there any threads for newbies? Maybe I should do my full intro there since this is a Location's thread.
So anyway here goes, I'm from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Depending on traffic, my place is around 10-15 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur's city centre, 15 minutes away from Subang Airport and 45 minutes from KL International Airport (KLIA). I have my own car and am pretty free at the moment since I'm waiting to further my studies.
But too bad, according to my fellow Malaysian below it seems like TAR wouldn't be visiting Malaysia anytime soon and I'm guessing it's because of the two Malaysian Airlines Tragedies this year :( If only I knew this forum before TAR 24 aired I would had gladly took pictures, gave updates of the teams when they were in Malaysia. That travel agency that team Branchel visited before the Sri Lanka leg was just around 10 minutes drive from my house and I frequent that place almost everyday. Would've been cool if I got to rub shoulders with the Branchels :)
Also I noticed that there were tweets in Malay language that needed translating? If there are any tweets or anything in Malay that needs translating in the future just tag me or PM me, I would be ore than happy to help!

Can drive, but don't own a car. I rely on public transport or the company's vehicles. Can travel with advanced notice. On the plus side, I'm a TV journalist so might use it to my advantage if I can. :hoot: I know all MAS related flights have been banned but who knows, Air Asia isn't banned. :wohoo: #hopeful

hey there I'm from Malaysia too :waves:
Just curious where did you heard that TAR is banning all MAS related flights?
But honestly I could understand why they're doing that.
