LEG2 Summary
Guangzhou Grand theatre
Cowboys left at 8:17am
Teams had to make their way to Chen Clan Academy Temple(陈家祠),and find  a master who played Taichi to receive thei next clue.
Chen Clan Academy Temple
Teams had been written the name of their next destination in Chinese on their forhead:星期8小镇(English:Eday Town),then played Taichi with master.
Eday Town
Eday Town is a Indoor playground for children.
A cluebox showed up and it is a RB.
RB require racer assembling a toy car then bring it to a child in Children's Activities Centre located at Tongxin Rd(童心路).
The order of teams finishing RB:
1.Mark(RB)/Mallory
2.Margie/Luke
3.Dave(RB)/Connor
4.Leo/Jamal(RB)
5.Brendon(RB)/Rachel
6.Jet/Cord
7.Jeniffer/Caroline
8.flight time/big easy
9.Joey/Meghan(RB)
10.John/Jessica
Jeniffer/Caroline was last team to RB,and they left there quickly and the only team without carrying toy car,so we think: Cowboys gave 2nd EP to country singer , girls went to centre directly and use EP to get clue.
However, cowboys left with toy car,so they should still keep their own EP.
When John/Jessica was leaving,Mark/Mallory came back to Eday Town because Mark left his pack there so they had to go back, this make rhem from first to last.

 Children's Activities Centre
Teams carried to toy car to a child (part of RB) and got their next clue.It is detour.
Detour A:make your way to LiWan Lake Park and kick shuttlecock with two locals, teams had to continuously kick the shuttlecock altogether ten times.
Detour B:make your way to a sauna center and do a Chinese Massage:cupping  therapy(拔火罐)
Cowboys,Dave/Connor,Caroline/Jeniffer choose cupping, others choose kicking shuttlecocks.
PITSTOP:Shamian Island
It is a bit odd to have same greeter in LEG1 here...
First 5 teams arrived within 5 mins,John/Jessica and Joey/Meghan had a footrace to pitstop.Mark/Mallory showed up 15+ mins after Joey/Meghan checked in. :'(

Weihen has given you the course, but if you'd like some human interest in the story, here's a translation of Finn路's adventures today, posted on Baidu. Thanks to the team on Baidu as well!
=====
I'm going to recount the leg today, but as one who fails my language exams and who might not be too clear, I seek your indulgence.
1. From Guangzhou Opera House to Chen Clan Temple
It seems like you have to write "星期8小镇" (Eday Town) on your forehead, then perform some taichi. Anyway, it didn't take much time. Margie/Luke had just finished, and Leo/Jamal took their turn... I followed Margie/Luke, then I saw Brendon/Rachel from afar... Margie/Luke found a taxi quickly... Brendon/Rachel hung around asking for directions, so I went up to help. After checking Baidu and sending them off in a taxi, we got into another one to follow... Leo/Jamal stopped our cab wanting us to let them have it, but since we were going to the same place, we ignored them...
2. From Chen Clan Temple to Eday Town
Eday Town is a children's playpen, located at the No. 5 Tarmac of the old Guangzhou Airport... They built a small car. Because we were following Brendon/Rachel and had left Leo/Jamal behind, we kept thinking the latter was not inside. At this time we believe Dave/Connor, Luke/Margie, Brendon/Rachel, and Mark/Mallory were there... (We were surprised when we saw on the forum that Jet/Cord were only now seen at the Chen Clan Temple. They were probably stuck when they dismissed the metro in the morning and took a cab, getting stuck in traffic on the way...) Herbert/Nathaniel arrived later. Mark/Mallory were the first to finish, folowed by Margie/Luke, Dave/Connor, Leo/Jamal, and Herbert/Nathaniel... (We were shocked to see Leo/Jamal. We thought we had arrived before them and didn't see them enter! There didn't seem to be a second door.) Anyway, the last to the Roadblock was Caroline/Jennifer... As we were preparing to leave for the Children's Activity Centre Brendon/Rachel finished up... We found that Caroline/Jennifer had cleverly asked their taxi driver to wait for them... When we left Jessica/John, Joey/Meghan, and Caroline/Jennifer were still at the Roadblock...
3. From Eday Town to the Children's Activity Centre
Teams had to take the car at the Roadblock to the Centre to get their clue. (We saw on the forums that Jet/Cord and surprisingly Caroline/Jennifer had finished the Roadblock, so we guess that the Express Pass had been used...) When we arrived Dave/Connor had just finished and Brendon/Rachel had just arrived. (At this time the forums said that Mark/Mallory returned to Eday Town to get their bag(s).) There was no one to ask for the next location, and we couldn't just run up and ask "Where are you going?", so the lead was broken... We followed the spoiler and rushed to Shamian... and saw the rolled up mat and a bunch of Westerners with cameras. We deduced this was the Pit Stop, but there was still Liwan Lake, so we headed there.
4. Deduction is that there was a Detour at the Children's Activity Centre
The choices were between Liwan Lake and a sauna house. The two were 5min apart on foot. When we arrived at Liwan Lake Margie/Luke had already finished and left to find a taxi, and Brendon/Rachel had just finished... Here there were Leo/Jamal, Herbert/Nathaniel, and Mark/Mallory. The task at Liwan Lake was to kick a shuttlecock, with the aim of kicking it ten times between the two team members... It wasn't long before Herbert/Nathaniel and Leo/Jamal were done, and then Joey/Meghan arrived... (By then the online forums said Brendon/Rachel had checked in in first place...) We watched Meghan/Joey for about ten minutes, who reached the count of eight several times. Mark/Mallory couldn't get it together... Since we saw that someone had made it to the Pit Stop we returned to Shamian, with John/Jessica finally arriving as we left. We got onto their taxi to get to Shamian... The driver told us about the 5min distance between the sauna house and Liwan Lake. Since we didn't see Dave/Connor, Jennifer/Caroline, and Jet/Cord, we deduced that this was the Detour.
5. Pit Stop at Shamian
We arrived to find Leo/Jamal still looking for the Pit Stop, but it didn't take them very long. They placed in seventh. Hence we waited for the last three teams to battle it out... It was during this time that they filmed a few duplicate shots. (I want to say that the racers were all great actors, pretending to be happy, relieved, huggy...) It was a while before John/Jessica and Joey/Meghan arrived simultaneously, but John/Jessica were faster runners than Joey/Meghan. Ten minutes passed before Mark/Mallory arrived...
1. Brendon/Rachel
2. Margie/Luke
3. Caroline/Jennifer
4/5/6. Dave/Connor, Herbert/Nathaniel, Jet/Cord (unsure of order)
7. Leo/Jamal
8. John/Jessica
9. Joey/Meghan

First and last place were separated by about an hour... Heard that the first six teams were very close.

This is the face of someone who really doesn't like his teammate.
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Sad but true. Do we know who left the backpack? Was it Mark, or Mallory?

The caption to the first press photo posted has this:
Quote

So it is confusing but it does seem like the caption is a fent to mislead the reader that the task is a roadblock, and not the Detour B for the leg which it does in fact seem to be.

This could ACTUALLY be a better leg design than the last leg <3

The shuttlecock task looks weird though.

Better to do that than the cupping therapy massage, I suspect.  I've heard the massage is painful!

Toy car made by Jamal, so as not to let Leo assemble things. Loveit.

Poor Mallory (and Mark) in the preview.

I love how Margie and Luke were videobombing.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I just post it here:

Although I haven't watched this episode, Chinese fans from Baidu Forum report that there is an error in subtitles.

In Eday Town a little girl is actually saying "Uncle Baldhead" rather than "I'm going to complain about you" as the subtitle shows.
好像用中文做签名档会比较酷。
