Nice work Alenaveda!

Vitoko, which FB group?

The final team from Equador is mentioned here:

This one daeys https://www.facebook.com/groups/149988764609/?fref=ts

I think is worth noting that Martin Suarez & Jenny Machado are also ex-tv reality contestants...
They were both part of "El Desafio" that seems to be some kind of Survivor style of show... but don't quote me on that... I'm just reading the wiki... http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desaf%C3%ADo_(reality)

Jenny was part of it in 2011 and Martin was part of it in 2012 and 2013... This reality was actually co-hosted by Toya Montoya in 2011 so there is that...

Thanks for the link!

Correct, they are reality TV people. I mentioned it above (reply #75)

Could these be the Argentinean girls?

Hah  :funny: , a journalist in Ecuador spoiled the entire casting:
http://www.hoy.com.ec/noticias-ecuador/the-amazing-race-llega-a-ecuador-610890.html

De Argentina participan Clara y Delfina (hermanas) y Javier y Nicolás (socios); de Venezuela, Orlando y Carlos (amigos) y Ana y Alexánder (amigos); de México, Cecilia y Juan (padre e hija) y David y Claudia (amigos); de Colombia, Martin y Jenny (novios) y Sonia y Gabriel (amigos), y de Chile, Estefanía y Felipe (esposos).

Here are Sonia/Gabriel:

At least is a satisfaction that we could correctly identify 10 of the eleven teams in only 24 hours since the press conference was made  :yess:

Congratulations to everybody! This was a fine work!  :kuss:

Considering there was a press conference about the race BEFORE the race started... I'm not surprised the cast was announce... I wonder if it is TAR new thing considering how the same thing happened after the Start line of TAR25

I think we just look over something we didn't know before the article daeys posted

THE PRIZE IS NOW $100.000  :o

I'm surprised they excluded Brazil completely. The largest country in Latin America has no participants (and the race won't visit Brazil, of course).

There's no incentive for Brazilian viewers to watch at all. I wonder if Space will even go thru the trouble of adding subtitles in Portuguese.

Brazil isn't really "Latin America", though. Latin America would imply that it was colonized by the Spanish. I would consider all of South and Central America to be Latin America except for Belize, Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.

I was just pointing to the fact that the show has almost always included Brazil in some way.

2014: no Brazil at all
2013: 1 Brazilian team
2012: all Brazilian cast
2011: final legs in Brazil
2010: 1 Brazilian team + some legs in Brazil
2009: 2 Brazilian teams + race started in Brazil
2007: all Brazil

I didn't mean to get into a geopolitical argument, sorry.

Brazil is Latin America. They were colonized by Portugal that is a latin country as Spain, France and Italy.

In fact, the definition for all the countries colonized by Spain is "hispanic". That's why when we talk about the spanish spoken nations of this continent, we refer ourselves as "Hispanic America".

Also: neither of the two Ecuadorian teams had a video audition on YouTube, correct? It seems both were hand-picked. I can't find a video for either.

And here I thought that having three legs without Detours was bad...The Amazing Trainwreck has outdone itself.
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

One hundred thousand dollars. In Latin America, they use periods instead of commas with numbers.
