Ultimate Survival Alaska Season 2
« on: December 21, 2013, 12:08:27 PM »
Season 2 started last week, airing Sundays at 9pm on National Geographic. Still the same concept of a 60 hour trek through wilderness, if you don't make it in 60 hours, your out, 11 legs of the race. This time, there are 4 teams of 3 (instead of 12 individuals). Also, some contestants are not from Alaska. The teams are: Endurance Athletes (includes youngest Iditarod champion and returning contestant Dallas Seavey), Military (none of the team members are from Alaska), Mountaineers (includes returning contestant Marty, all 3 team members are from Alaska), and Woodsmen (includes Tina Scheer from Survivor: Exile Island).

Thanks for posting this! We watched the first season and now the concept is the same but new teams with different skills. The first episode was quite scary when Jimmy Gaydos, one member of the Woodsmen had his canoe overturn in the rapids and his team beached their own boats and began to search for him.
