If she's tweeting, then it's all over.

The weather no doubt helped the secrecy. I saw more than a few tweets about how the streets were nearly empty due to the cold.

Pretty surprising stuff that it ended before Sunday. It looked as if they were on pace to end on Monday.  And a night final leg in Vegas is such a pure joy to learn about, and when the episode airs? Wow!

I sort of hoped that this would be the season where the eventual winners would destroy the other top teams so badly that they would cross the finish line while teams 2 & 3 were still in penultimate city.  Doesn't look like it, and I hardly think the staff will allow what happened to David & Jeff and Joe & Bill to happen ever again.

Finally, I'm glad it wasn't in Pittsburgh. That would have been a painful miss (if they went through there, then so be it, but as long as that wasn't the end city, that is fair enough).

But She was also responding yesterday and the day before yesterday and the day before that.
I only saw Her and Joey's tweets, which wouldn't convince me that the Race is over, but Nadiya's tweet about being in Vegas convinced me enough  :cmas19

I really can't wait to watch this season!

Someone should just ask all of them, "Hey! What's happening?  Where have to been?!"

Could the missing legs between Rome and Seville have been a Keep-on-racing/Zero-hour-pitstop....but with a U-Turn attached to the 2nd leg? [We've had one of these on TAR 23.] Plus, a KOR/ZHP hasn't been confirmed so far this season and TAR has liked to use them in recent seasons.

As for the possible night leg in Vegas, the weather might account for no good sightings. I don't think tourists are gonna be out on The Strip for long in 35-degree temps lol....especially on a Friday night.

Switzerland & England are missing legs on back end.

Which is surprising to me because of how heavily spoiled was the beginning of the race.

So I'm a little confused, mainly because the producers have done an excellent job of hiding the final legs of this race.

In Rome we definitely had:

Globetrotters
Cowboys
Afghanimals
Dave & Connor
Jessica & John,
Caroline and Jennifer.

Then when we got to Seville we think we might have Brenchel still in it and be down to five teams.

Surely the win will have come (unfortunately) from one of the first four teams?

Not necessarily. JJ were likely eliminated in Rome. Seville there were 5 teams racing, 2 of which appear to be Cowboys and Brenchel and possibly the Aphganimals. The other 2 teams are unconfirmed and we don't know the placements of those 5 or past that.

I don't think it's wise to rule out teams because of perception based on their past or how well we think they may do. The strongest don't always win.

IMO any out of Cowboys, Aphganimals, Cancer, Globtrotters, Country Girls, and Brenchel could have won or made it to the end. Until otherwise proven.

I think it was just more saying with a photo that it was in Las Vegas.  :kisses

There were storms in both Europe and the US over the last week to 10 days that could have caused last minute substitutions of legs and locations. We really don't know. Las Vegas at night was apparently the end city, but that's not saying that was the plan when filming started.
As I noted above, I haven't seen a season filmed with so much potential impacts from weather since season 8. This does not mean other seasons didn't have impact but generally those were for specific legs or countries, and not potentially for half the legs as might have been the case this time. It will be very interesting to see what emerges.
And feel sorry for the Cowboys, who have to get back home to southeast Oklahoma which is part of the area with the most severe icing from the most recent storm (one to two inches thick) enough to make road travel impossible.

Ireland did not suffer much from the winds, but it is highly unlikely it would be the last country. More than likely the flight would go from Shannon Airport and connect in America. But again I doubt it, and if they were they more than likely wouldn't be spotted here  :cmas13

I think the opposite. If they won they wouldn't have been that obvious about it. and that pic was right after the race finished. They didn't look like they'd been racing to me.

They're familiar enough with the whole reality show thing, I can't imagine they'd do something to risk a breech of their non-disclosure disagreements.

That doesn't mean Elissa knows? She probably just has faith in her sister thinking they won.
