For me it is a 50/50 split chance. There is more than enough space for another country between Sri Lanka and Italy at the same time there are marvelous places inside Sri Lanka (my sister just came back from Colombo) like Sigiriya where the true and original The Lion King story took place.

If they did 2 legs in Sri Lanka, then I'm surprised they were not spotted again inside the island or at the Colombo airport. If they did another country I may suppose it is a less traveled place just like what happened with Botswana when they also disappeared for a few days.

Also, if there was another country, I'd say that it is not a hub, because of how easily they can be spotted. This leaves India, Ethiopia, UAE and others out for me.

There is something possibly race related going on at the Piazza de Spagna webcam in Rome.
I see someone go up the steps followed by a camera. Later I see someone at the bottom of the steps holding a white sign, but down low. I have seen what looked to be a camera and a sound guy at one time. I also keep seeing a guy in a camoflauge coat. http://www.skylinewebcams.com/de/webcam/italia/lazio/roma/piazza-di-spagna.html

I'm also seeing a couple of cameramen, a soundman and someone who could either be a cameraman and a soundman. I also see the guy with a white board (possibly to reflect light onto the people being filmed?). I'll see if I can get a screencap into the sightings thread.

Unfortunately, I have a really slow internet connection and the scene isn't updating. Maybe I can reload it.

If you look on the live cam, there is a taxi parked in the middle of the square, it belongs to one of the teams, they should be returning shortly

So far we have seen: Dave/Connor, Cowboys, CaroJen, Globies, Afghans at the spanish steps RB, and
Not sure: one M/F team spec'd to be John/Jessica

That means we still haven't seen Margie/Luke and Brenchel. One of them might be eliminated in Sri Lanka AND if there's a leg between Sri Lanka and Italy, they might have been eliminated on that leg. However if there's NO leg between Sri Lanka and Italy, one of them might still survive. They could be ahead of Dave/Connor or terribly fall behind any other teams

please correct me if i said anything wrong

Glad to see the Live Sightings Thread active again.

From that thread (and a lil' from this), only JJ, Margie & Luke, and Brenchel are unconfirmed. To me, I think Brenchel got booted out in 8th place, just a spec though. I could be wrong.
