The low curved wooden fence and the awning area makes me think production has converted a skeet range for the ballistas. Here's a viewpoint of a range in the Monsanto forest on the north edge of town. The field in the promo looks unkempt though, so the location may be farther out.

The new sneak peek from youtube confirms the location of the airport drama to be Sao Paolo Airport.

Also, Nicole&Travis and Nicky&Kim are in the same flight to arrive at 7:00 am in Lisbon, Portugal
No sight of Ephraim&Chester or any of the other teams.

:)  Looks like the Route Marker is in the Alfama District of Lisbon.  Rooftop terrace could be somewhere near the blue oval.

Here's a map of the Lisbon metro lines: look in the Castelo/Alfama section for 28E, the tram they rode to find the fado players and the coach clue. Where they boarded is hard to say.

Adiós Chile, Olá Portugal! 'Amazing Race' Contestant Suffers 'Brainfart' [Exclusive Video]

.
.By Carrie Bell | Fall TV –

In this exclusive clip from the next episode of "The Amazing Race," it appears that our travelers have landed in Europe for the third leg. And much as with the race to be the first person to sail around the world while building an empire for their homeland and mapping uncharted territories, Portugal and Magellan will play significant roles in this race as well.

The Oklahoma oilers, Tim and Danny, seem to be all alone at the Discoveries Monument in Lisbon trying to calculate with a giant compass and an in–ground map the total number of nautical miles that Magellan sailed. It is unclear from the video whether they beat other teams to a Detour or are the last team left at the challenge. Considering that Tim has a self-described "brainfart" in which he forgets that the Earth is round and the stone-faced man in the 16th-century garb rips up their first guess of 1,625, they'd better hope that it's not the latter. Judging by their fairly calm demeanor and lack of pit stains, it's the former.

Forgive me if I don't post this correctly as I am a newbie.  But did anyone pick up on Marie being pissed off that one of the MLB wives pulled a stunt that she(Marie) would have done?  And that she was not expecting it and was pissed about it.  It seems it is okay for Marie to play by "her rules" of gaining any advantage but woe be to any other team that should even encroach on them.   More power to the MLB wives  :hearts:  Oops, forgot to add this is in regard to the airport drama.

I was wondering how are they gonna handle all the teams doing that challenge... there is only one map so, this could get crowded really fast.

If Alenaveda is implying that its a FF clue in Tim/Dannys pocket and the compass task is an FF, that would explain "In Lisbon, Portugal, one team takes a huge risk in the hopes of a big reward".. but in another preview there is a quick cap of the LA ice girls doing the challenge as well...hmmm

Maybe the FF is before this and they just happened to have the clue on hand.

or

Maybe one of them fails to do it. And that is the big reward the preview talk about and has nothing to do with Chester&Ephraim getting a different flight :/
