CHER TO GUEST JUDGE AND APPEAR ON ABC'S "DANCING WITH THE STARS," MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4
Two Hour Spectacular Celebrates Cher’s Music Career
& Features Two Performances by the Legend
“Episode 1708” – “Dancing with the Stars” celebrates the legendary music career of Cher MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). The news was confirmed live on this evening’s broadcast. The iconic Oscar®, Grammy® and Emmy® Award winning singer and actress will open the show with a dazzling and spectacular performance of her hit song “Believe” before joining judges’ Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba to give critiques and scores on each celebrity routine. The seven remaining couples will compete in two rounds of dance. In the first round, each couple will take on a dance style they have not previously performed including the Tango, Argentine Tango, Contemporary, Viennese Waltz, Jazz, Disco, and Foxtrot. The couple to receive the highest total score from the judges in this round will receive immunity and not be subject to elimination. In the second round, the seven remaining couples will compete in a thrilling head-to-head "dance off" competition. The winning couples of the “dance off” round will be awarded additional Judges’ points that will be added to their overall score for the night. At the end of the show, Cher will perform her new single, "I Hope You Find It" from her current album, “Closer To The Truth”, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Pop Charts, before one couple is eliminated.
Cher has been a worldwide superstar for almost 50 years. Her extraordinary list of accomplishments include Academy Award® winning actress, Emmy® and Grammy® winner, three time Golden Globe winner, Cannes Film Festival Award winner, People’s Choice Award winner, Broadway and film actress, singer, director, documentarian, author and humanitarian. Cher is the only artist to have a No. 1 song in six decades. Her most recent chart topper “Woman’s World” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Club Play Chart. Her new album, “Closer To The Truth,” her first in 12 years, has remained in the Top 20 since its September 20th release.
Hosted by Emmy® Award-winning host Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Brooke Burke-Charvet (“Dancing with the Stars” Season 7 Champion), “Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which are judged by renowned ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

There is no way in hell that he and Amber should have been safe last night. It is all about keeping him happy and with the show, now that Max is gone.

SIX REMAINING COUPLES TAKE ON A DYNAMIC TRIO PERFORMANCE ON ABC’S “DANCING WITH THE STARS,” MONDAY NOVEMBER 11
“Episode 1709” – Six remaining couples hit the ballroom floor and take on an exciting trio performance, on “Dancing with the Stars,” MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). The couples will compete in two rounds of dance. In the first round, each couple will take on an individual dance in a style they have not previously performed including the Viennese Waltz, Tango, Charleston, Argentine Tango and Quickstep. In the second round, the couples take on a new challenge and dance with an eliminated pro or troupe member as part of dynamic trio. The trio dance routine will be in a style the celebrity has not yet performed including the Samba, Jive, Salsa, Paso Doble and Jazz. At the end of the night, one couple will face elimination.
