Most Underrated Survivors ever.
« on: May 10, 2013, 12:02:29 PM »
If I could choose a few, it would be these:

Tyson: He was absolutely hysterical in Tocantins, and in HvV too. I love how the first thing we here about him is Erinn saying "Tall spiky hair blonde boy. Love him. He just seems like a good guy to have around" The next scene is Tyson explaining that Erinn is going to be the bitch of the season. Here's the rest of him being entertaining.

http://funny115.com/v2/25.htm

Dave Ball: He was robbed of screentime in Samoa because of Russell and Shambo. But he was quite a character. He had the potential of being a hilarious fan-favorite, he just wasn't shown.

Erik Cardona: If not for being blindsided, he could've been a big strategist. Also he had one of the top 3 jury speeches ever.

Brian Heidik: Perfection of the "Be a jerk and take a bigger jerk to the end with you" strategy.

Rob Cesternino: Original Survivor comedian. I just don't think he gets enough recognition. One of my all-time favorites.

How is Tyson bullying Sierra hilarious? I mean, he's a funny guy who doesn't treat everything seriously... but do you seriously think if it's you in Sierra's shoes you would be happy?

Tyson is an actually mean person. Like, he was the worst part of Tocantins.
Erinn, on the other hand, was amazing <3. She was on the outs since like day 5, and she got to final 3, and was seconds away from beating JT at an immunity challenge, which would have sent him home.

Other people
Abi- most people take her as an awful person, but she was great her last couple episodes, and survived a lot long than she should have
Brett- Had a very Brenda-esque edit (except brenda was better), won 3 challenges in a row, generally kicked butt

~Will edit more when I think of them~

I think the thing with Tyson, is that him being mean was just some sort of comic relief. Laughing at the stupidity of him is fun too. He may have been a bit mean, but the stuff he said was just pretty funny to watch. I agree that Erinn was good too about flying under the radar. And I forgot about Brett. Man, Russell really covered up a lot of great people from Samoa.

I really didn't like him, but i think Jim from SoPa was pretty underrated. He was smart with not giving Ozzy too much power, and leading the blindside of Elyse. He also had a pretty good idea with giving immunity to Ozzy and telling everyone to vote out Cochran. The Upolus would have never done that, but it was a very good idea. I think if the Savaiis had the upper hand, Jim would've been a dominant startegist and gone very far.

Dave Ball is DEFINITELY underrated and he was one of the better characters on Samoa.

Natalie White is too. ( )

Andrea in RI for trying to pull off the 'let's-all-flip-on-BR-move' too.

And... Reynold. For managing to continuously save himself and Eddie.

For me, Tracy from Micronesia is one of the most underrated Survivors (strategist and maybe challenge performer to be exact) ever. She manipulated the manipulator (Joel) and because of her, the outcast trio (her, Kathy and Chet) survived until the tribal swap, where I believe she could have done some damage on the faves if Chet hadn't called it quits. :res: She wasn't relying so much at being friendly with people, but her social game was good in terms of convincing people to vote her way and convincing the right people.

THIS A MILLION TIMES! <3

She got rid of the two biggest Fans from a minority position. <3

She is probably my favourite castaway to never make the merge! <333333333333333 (at least from the seasons I have seen) :hearts: Would love to see her again! :hearts:

Randy Bailey of Gabon and HvV. I just found him hilarious. People like him just crack me up.

"We've been here 15 minutes and she already wants elephant ****"
"I've come to the conclusion that Gillian is a crazy person"
"Susie's an idiot. Why can't she yawn....and not make a noise?"
"Susie's crazy and Susie's stupid, and that's a horrible combination"
"I'm just gonna make em all miserable, and wait for them to make mistakes when they aren't thinking straight." (You all think Russell is the king and founder of this, right? Nuh-uh. The (self-proclaimed) King of Gabon is!

And the best was this. Background info: The Kota alliance of Bob, Randy, and Corinne are down for the count, as they are outnumbered 5-3. here's Randy's genius plan:

"I'm gonna be crashing and burning all day."
"Making everybody miserable."
"Showing these morons... just putting them in their place."
"Then Bob can give me the idol and we get can rid of one of these ****ers."

And then the punchline:

"If that doesn't work, I will just burn the whole camp down."

So that's my little tribute to Randy. May not be the nicest guy, but boy, he is fun to watch!

Edit: I can't believe I forgot this. the stupidest argument in Survivor history. Him and Matty freaking out about the literally TWO FOOT shot in slingshot golf. They were RIGHT ON TOP OF THE HOLE. yet Randy just has to argue.

"The shot that Matty took, he would make nine times out of ten."

"If everybody would have shut up and listened to what I was saying, I had a shot that would have made it ten times out of ten."

Alright buddy, alright.

Eddie Fox and Christina Cha, both for the exact same reason - both were always on the outs but managed to somehow make their way hugely to F4

I thought Christina was playing it real. She knew she was on the outside and couldn't do much to change, it just wasn't her type of personality I guess. She could have been really gullible, believing that Kim is taking Alicia and her to the end.. but once it was clear Kim wasn't doing so, she just didn't try because there's really no point.

I really liked Christina because I know she's really a kind hearted person. No matter how Colton and Alicia threw her under the bus, she still treated them with respect.

And I know people said she's a bad Survivor and blah blah blah... but, who says in Survivor you always have to be "exciting, scheming and deceitful"? Christina's game play was one I have not really seen before and gosh, she must be really a humble person for being so gracious about all the negativity she has received and I really must say, she's not getting enough credit and recognition for just, you know... being nice on Survivor. People are always criticizing her and everything.

I agree that she did good at flying under the radar. I feel that Eddie is easier to defend, because he was on the bottom, and never had the opportunity to change up the game. He had to put his faith in others to switch up the game and join his alliance. For someone to be in the minority every single episode and make it to F4 is very impressive.

I think Eddie was more fun to watch than Christina though. Just my opinion.

The reason why Eddie stayed there for so long was because of Malcolm's move and Stealth R Us self-destructing. I would have been more impressed if he did a Bob (Gabon)... but no, I think both Christina and Eddie are not fun to watch at all... but I think they are underrated because I think they played a great social game, to not have been deemed as BIG THREATS and good to keep around. ;)

I just consider Eddie fun to watch because he has a good personality and seems like a fun person. While Christina is very nice, she was just extremely boring.

Eddie gave up about five episodes prior to his being voted out.

He was just relishing every second he was able to stay on the island. He stopped playing long before he was outed.
