THE AMAZING RACE CANADA

The race of a lifetime restarts with the season premiere of the blockbuster, record-breaking, original series THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, which kicks off its exhilarating second edition on a new night this summer, airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning July 8 on CTV and CTV GO. Hosted once again by Olympic champion and Canadian hero Jon Montgomery, the hit series became a country’s obsession and the most-watched Canadian series on record last summer, with an average of 3.5 million viewers.

Hopefully, they will release more info this afternoon at CTV Upfront.

Amazing Race Canada is coming soon! I get some details on season 2 out of @jrmonty12 ....in today's Metro.

The story is on page 25 of the Wednesday 6-11-14 edition, but it's a PDF, so I can't copy it over here. There's not a lot of new info. Here's the link to the main webpage:

'The Amazing Race Canada' gets pumped up with super premium half-a-million dollar grand prize

The record grand prize for “The Amazing Race Canada” just went super premium. Not only will the winning team once again receive a $250,000 cash payout and the opportunity to fly free for a year for two anywhere Air Canada flies worldwide in Business Class, they will also receive “gas for life” from Petro-Canada and two Chevrolet Silverado High Country Edition Pickup Trucks. Three more teams will be announced tomorrow (June 18), three on Thursday (June 19), and the final two pairings will be revealed on Friday (June 20). Fans can also look forward to a special Season 2 exclusive, to be revealed this Friday (June 20) at noon ET by @AmazingRaceCDA.
