Oh my! Hope all in Ottawa are safe!

I hope everyone is safe too - and that the cameras were rolling...

An example of the damage:

 :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

We are likely on leg 7/8 for Iqaluit

So after Iqaluit are we look at two legs in Atlantic Canada before a Toronto finish?

Throat singing is done only by women and traditionally it is younger women who perform it.

There was a strange tweet about a TAR filming in NOLA this morning.

But it turn to be a charity event:

Drew Brees ‏@drewbrees 9h

Matthew & I hangin out on the balcony in the French Quarter hosting our Amazing Race charity event. 30 more minutes!

Not many people live in Iqaluit.  2011 census has it at 6699, I don't know how much tourism they get, but it would still be early for most travellers.

They were in Iqaluit so maybe they did have an extended break. Iqaluit is remote after all.

Iqaluit's sun rose on May 18, 2013 at 03:13AM. It'll be Mostly Cloudy with a high of -1

 :lol3: I can't imagine living there. A 3am sunrise and a high of -1. That's just unnecessary.

I think everyone is getting confused because Canada reports temperatures in Celsius. -1 C is about 30 degrees Fahrenheit. So it's just below freezing. I looked up Iqaluit on the Weather Underground http://www.wunderground.com and the high on May 18th was 30 F and the Low was 8 F. The average high for May 18th is 39 F and the average low is 26 F.  It may surprise you that it's that high (it surprised me), but when you have 18 1/2 hours of sunlight and are near the ocean (which is at least around 32 F), it's hard to drop all the way to 0 F.

If it is true, Mahone Bay would be about an hours drive from Halifax.

Don't know if Halifax was just transit or if they did an overnight HOO there.

But keep an eye on Mahone Bay...we have strong reason to be watching out!

Can someone (non-geographically Canada challenged  ) do a Province check for me?

We had a spec report of possible all Provinces. With Whitehorse unconfirmed...not sure about Yukon. Are we missing any others?

IFwe go to NLD next, then head back to Toronto via _____, have we hit them all? ???
