Because WRP would totally put 3 switchbacks in one race. ;) But yes, that was the best memory challenge EVER!

Switchbacks in Switzerland and D.C. where is number 3????

I like a memory challenge as much as anyone else, I do however think that in a bit too many seasons the memory challenge was the sole deciding reason behind who won. The final leg in TAR 15 is one of my favourite final legs because it had a lot of different challenges and was challenging with a memory challenge.

But TAR15 didn't have a memory challenge IIRC?

Thinking like Washington D.C., this city is known as the international city of America where cultures boil together more than New York City, Los Angeles, or Houston. It may be another flag or country ordering task like in season 9.

No, Las Vegas only showcased their Strip hotels (M. Bay Hotel & Casino Australian rappel, Cirque du Soleil bungee stunt, count poker chips to $1M), a wedding chapel (finding Elvis impersonator), and a millionaire's home & penthouse suite (related to Finish Line location).

Yeah, I meant without.

It had a lot challenges, both metal and physical, some riddle-type clues and no equalizer except the plane ride in the beginning, which is what made it good in my opinion.

So, definitely not the animals then - none in the Berlin leg. Not the miscellaneous Route Info tasks either - none in the second Botswana leg to make room for the Fast Forward and Speed Bump, and two in both Switzerland and Berlin. Not things teams received - even if you count "the clue for the Fast Forward", there were none in Hanoi. Alternate clueboxes seems to be the only viable choice.

It was crazy cause at different points of the race, all the Final 3 teams completed at least one task in first place. LOL. And Meghan and Cheyne reached the counting task last. Who would have thought?? :ascared

They did not seem to particularly highlight any signs of memory challenge as well. :(

People handing clues? We had 2 clue givers in Bora Bora, I can also remember the ones in the Bamboo Dance, recently we have had the one with the dogs in Switzerland, the coin giver in the Roadblock in Germany or IDK, lots of people have given clues, that could have something to do?

We also had the really random woman in Switz with the red hat, so I would lean towards people as well having something to do with it

Yeah, but based on outfits etc, wouldn't be that hard to figure. Plus any racers with any smarts keep a log of this...

Notes? I am suggesting that smart teams log this info and then STUDY it.

Just posting here to make an interesting #1400 post.

I think our memory challenge could really be the people invoved in tasks. , as somebody here said.

LEG 1 : Bora Bora singer.
LEG 2 : Singers in the Stilts roadblock.
LEG 3 : Small Dog (Shemozzle race)
LEG 4 : Priest/Monkeys
LEG 5 : Vietnam dancers.
LEG 6 : Bushman
LEG 7 : Goats
LEG 8 : Big Dog
LEG 9 : Coin Giver.

What do y'all think?
100% commitment makes everything easy
99% commitment makes everything hard

No people in the second Botswana leg though - the first clue was at a standard cluebox, and from there the hockey players took the Fast Forward.

Methods of transport?  :lol3:

Canoe, stilts, racing car, surfboard, B-52, safari vehicle, makoro, sled, model train, Ford Escape, (something in Northern Ireland).

The only things that would present a hazard would be the B-52, which is retroactively in poor taste, and the makoro although the RB clue for that was pretty descriptive ('Who wants to go up a creek?' or something similar).

I think at this point it could be a TAR 12 / TAR 14 RB and teams just have to match one item/thing they have seen on each leg of the race...

I'm still retaining the fact that the woman with the red hat in the Switz leg was very random...
