Any Signs for Memory Challenge in the Finale?
« on: February 18, 2013, 08:40:20 AM »
Hey guys, after watched the first episode, have you noticed something that may be featured as the memory challenge in the finale? It seems that I couldn't notice one. Share your thoughts here! :D

I would probably have to re-watch the episode again; but doesn't seem to be.

i still think the different clue boxes could be one... or switch back to s12 memory were they have different items from each leg of the race

I think it's too early to discuss the final memory challenge (if indeed there is one) until we get more clues with the next couple of episodes - we shall have to see! I would love to see a final memory challenge involving the new clue boxes but they've been used a lot more in recent seasons so it's not something to lean on

We're going to check it every leg! But the sand castles seem like something , to me. Dunno why or what.

I'd love to see a 'Numbers' challenge, where the contestants are given say 20 numbers, and have to match them up with a task for each leg.

For example, Leg 1's would be trying to remember how many sandcastles they have to search through.

Weird transport? I mean I'm not sure if they would even do a memory task after TAR21's greeter fiasco. But..

01) Polynesian Outrigger to Pit Stop
02) Promos have shown stilts

Just a guess!

I guess we'll have to wait till next sunday to see if strange patterns are repeated.  Remember that last season memory task was too easy to discover. And we didn't even be sure untill we saw the hello/goodbye of the greeter in Indonesia also written on screen.

That's a possibility, because in leg 4 we know that there will be a task related to

surfboard
. But, isn't that a little bit like the memory challenge in TAR12, but with a specific kind of item? ;)

I'm pretty sure they travel down a river in NZ somehow, either by jetboat or kayak.

Isn't it new zealand were they are doing something like mud sliding?
There could be a pattern of weird or extreme sports. Like skydiving, sea diving, mud sliding, surfing etc

You might be right.

In the intro we see the Swiss instrument (not sure what its called).
Scotland we see the bagpipes
We do see dances from both Vietnam and Indonesia in the intro so musical instruments might accompany them.

The rest??

I think the Swiss instrument is a long horn :)

Maybe in the end we have a memory challenge with both blessings involved , where the
Show content
switchback
would be the first roadblock , and the other one would be the memory one , like last season.

After we watched the second episode, somehow they really highlighted the dance and music at the Roadblock. But I really wonder what did Phil mean at his Twitter post. :)
