I hope they will return on TAR someday. Seriously, they haven't even shown their potential yet. They only lasted for two legs, but they are really memorable! <3

I just learned from the previously.tv TAR forum that Amy Purdy is going through some rough medical problems right now. Apparently, being as active as she is, she was putting pressure on the blood vessels around the knee in her left leg and developed a large blood clot stretching from her hip to her knee. Complicating the situation is that she has a transplanted kidney and severe shellfish allergies. When diagnosed in late February, she was told it was a choice between her left leg or her kidney. She's apparently had several surgeries since then and posted an update on Facebook yesterday. Here's her update:

Not at my best right now guys. This leg and I have been through so much. I have to be honest, the multiple surgeries that I’ve had this week have put me through more discomfort & pain than I have ever endured in my life. It’s actually amazing how much our bodies can handle.

With the painkillers not helping my only option is to shut my eyes, turn on meditation music (thank you @juleshough) & try to mentally escape.

My Dr. has worked his magic & now it’s up to my recovery & time to see what the outcome is. When the time is right, I hope to share with you all that has gone on these last few weeks.

But I will say this. If I didn’t already know, now I do.... these bodies of our ours are so strong!! I appreciate mine more & more each day for staying so strong and fighting for me . I can’t wait to get back in balance.

She has posted earlier that her kidneys are doing well. It sounds like the leg may be recovering too. Keep Amy in your thoughts and prayers.
