The Pittsburgh-New York Game went to halftime at 5:54 ET so with a 12 minute halftime, the second half will start at 6:06 ET. I do not think the second half would finish in an hour and 24 minutes so expect a delay for TAR.

It's 6:30 pm EST and there's 6:43 left in the third quarter; since there's a 7 point margin in the game, it's hard to say with this much time left (21:43 left) whether the game will be finished within this hour or not.
Keep monitoring.

Our daylight saving time ended this morning. Hopefully everyone is on the normal time schedule. (I detest daylight saving!) :)

Game has ended with a minute to spare, but we'll have to see how long a delay may come from the commercials before 60 Minutes starts.

60 Minutes' clock started at 33  past the hour, so a roughly 3 minute overrun. Will post Eye-lert if one comes in.

That's what I expected with the start being the end of September, and the 16th being about as late as CBS has daring having a Survivor finale.

The only 405pm CBS game is Jets/Seattle. Here are the metro areas getting that (everyone else gets no CBS late game):

Washington
Oregon
northern Idaho
Baton Rouge/New Orleans
Atlanta
most of Minnesota
eastern 1/3 ND
eastern 1/3 MI
Cincinnati
New York City
Albany

There are some updates this week. Three markets have switched from the late game on one of the early games on CBS, and thus for two of them, those markets will not have to worry about overruns and delays in prime time:
Cincinnati, Ohio.
Grand Forks, ND
(Idaho Falls, ID is in the Mountain/Pacific time zone.)

The Jets/Seattle game is moving along at a smart slip. At 615pm there is 3:36 left in the third quarter. The probability of finishing on or close to 7pm is quite good, except that the 7 point difference in score could mean overtime.

This coming week is a CBS NFL doubleheader week, which means the later start time on the east coast feed, and this week, there are two late games, and the east coast markets are roughly divided in half between the two games.

Indianapolis at New England includes penisular Florida, Houston, Augusta GA/SC, much of North Carolina, most of Iowa, and everything north and east of a line from Chicago to St. Louis to Norfolk, VA.

The San Diego at Denver game will go everywhere else (most of the southern U.S. and the Great Plains and all points to the west; only San Francisco is blacked out, which of course doesn't matter because they get the west coast prime time feed.

The only question is whether CBS will spilt the east coast feed for prime time if the games have different end times.

Doubleheader game here is Colts/Patriots and just went below 9 minutes left in 3rd period. This game may finish by 730pm.

Colts-Pats have about 9 minutes remaining and with a 52-24 lead, it's doubtful we'll be looking at any overtime :) However, it might not finish by the half-hour only because of all of the scoring that stops the game clock. (and the incomplete passes from both teams.)

CBS switched the Colts-Patriots audience to the other game which still has about 2:30 left to play, so everyone will be delayed by a few more minutes no matter which late game you were getting in the U.S.
And of course Canada started on time, the CFL doesn't run over does it? :)
