Teams that became more likeable as the season went on?

Do you have any teams that you disliked at the start, but gradually began to like as the season progressed?

Interesting topic! :)

I suppose Brenchel falls into this category for me. I didn't dislike them at the beginning, I was just neutral. But by the end, they became my favourite team.

Maybe BJ & Tyler as well. I disliked them for most of the race, but I was cheering for them at the end, just because I hated Eric & Jeremy more.

I think Kynt & Vyxsin and Brian & Ericka would fall into this category too. I disliked/was neutral towards both teams at the start, but by the end of their respective races, they were my favourite teams. :hoot: :hoot:
I'd rather walk alone than let them throw dirty confetti. ♥

-Joey "Fitness" & Danny (Although they only went 6 legs), I thought they would be the worst performing M/M team, but that changed as they started placing in the Top 3 a few times. They can have some kind of sense of humor when they're not talking about girls  :res:

-Brendon & Rachel, I've never actually watched Big Brother, but a lot of people would  blahblah about them and so I kinda predicted them to be annoying. It wasn't the case after all.

-Justin & Jennifer, their 'fight' in Leg 2 seemed really scripted but it turns out they really do quite work well as a team.

-Jeremy & Sandy (They got like less screentime than Liz & Marie and such), but I really started to like them. They seemed to be the most 'normal' players and most needing of the money.

(Skipping TAR18, as it has teams returning.)
(Skipping TAR17, most of the teams were already likable by the beginning )
(Skipping TAR16, didn't like that season  :res:)
(Skipping TAR15, they're all quite the same rate to me.)

-Christie & Jodi, they're truly an underrated team. They usually at the bottom... but their one win  :hearts:

(Skipping TAR13, didn't like that season  :groan:)

-Kynt & Vyxsin for SURE.

-Nathan & Jennifer, their bickering is funny and they somehow place high most of the time

-Ronald & Christina

That's all for the most recent seasons.

It took more than the season they were on, but when Rob and Amber were first on, I disliked them cause they were on everything at the time.  Now, going back and watching it again, I find I really like them.

Ron and Christina... I really disliked Ron and his way of talking down to Christina(heck, everybody), but towards teh end when he mellowed out I liked them both.

The only thing I liked about them was when they failed.

Yeah, Brenchel was really likeable in the finale :res:

I usually like teams from the beginning if I'm going to like them, I'm not sure if I liked any team in the end that I didn't like at first.

Oswald & Danny.  I still remember thinking of them as snobs in the beginning of TAR2, and then they ended up as my favorite team of all time.

Amani & Marcus (19)
They started generic to me but Marcus' hilarious quotes and funny temper made me like them.

Bumping an old thread :cmaslol

I hated the Chips in the beginning (idk, why) I guess my impression of them was attention-freaks, but as the season progressed they became one of my favorite teams ever :cmas9

Abbie and Ryan. I didn't like them at first, but a few things changed my mind.

Leg 4: Their reactions to the twinnies  :cmaslol
Leg 7: They were so nice the Beekmans.
Leg 8: One of the funniest meltdown ever!
Leg 9: So sad to watch them be eliminated...

Chippendales, Abbie and Ryan and Josh and Brent. That's why TAR 21 is one of those seasons I'll remember. Not the tasks, but more of the teams.

Abbie & Ryan, at first I didn't like them because they were aiming to be the new Dave & Rachel, but their Amsterdam leg really made me feel bad for them, a serious case of "Alas, Poor Scrappy"

Me too for Abby and Ryan. I started liking them in Bangladesh. I now don't know why I didn't like them in the first place!  :cmaslol

Abbie & Ryan and Josh & Brent definitely for me. :cmas9

And Natalie & Nadiya were the opposite - loved them at first but couldn't stand them by the end. :cmaslol

I didn't necessarily dislike these teams, but I just didn't care for them one way or another in the beginning.

Chip & Kim (TAR 5) - Back-packers in the beginning, but became smarter and funnier as the season went on.
Hayden & Aaron (TAR 6) - Although they bickered a fair amount, I loved them by the end!
Adam & Rebecca (TAR 6) - Adam was a wimp, but Rebecca was SO funny! She is the one who really kept their team alive. :cmaslol
Uchenna & Joyce (TAR 7) - An obvious choice. In the beginning they were just "there", but after the hair shaving in Leg 8, they really emerged as the team to root for! (Especially after Meredith & Gretchen were eliminated)
Dustin & Kandice (TAR 10) - In the beginning they weren't the team I was rooting for at all, but by the end, I realized how awesome and strong of a team they were. One of my Top Ten for sure!
Nathan & Jennifer (TAR 12) - It wasn't until they were eliminated that I realized I was actually going to miss them! TK & Rachel were too boring...
Toni & Dallas (TAR 13) - (I need to re-watch that season though. Don't remember a whole lot...)
Ken & Tina (TAR 13)
Kisha & Jen (TAR 14) - In the beginning I had them picked as a team that would fall out early. For some reason, that's just the vibe I got. But when it didn't happen, I realized I could totally root for them to beat the alliance (the 3 teams that later ended up in the Final 3). The fight with Margie & Luke was when they were solidified as the team I was rooting for. Then they got eliminated. I love this team though!
Steve & Allie (TAR 16) - Just before they got eliminated, I was really starting to root for them... :cmas3

By the end of 19, I really was rooting for Jeremy & Sandy to win, mainly because I was only rooting for Bill & Cathi and I didn't really care for anybody else in the F4

Joseph and Grace.  I was probably indifferent at first, but then Grace started being shown as funny and being plucky in some tasks.  We probably got more insight into the relationship between the siblings as well.

Paul and Steve grew on me to a lesser extent, but I probably found them more tolerable by the end.

Mark and Bopper I probably disliked at first and then grew to like more.  But then after they were saved a second time on a NEL I probably turned against them at the end.  :D
