But then again, pre-race press releases usually mention the newest countries..

I thought this too.  :'(

If there was a new country it would have been mentioned.

Im curious about something. Has there ever been a time where a press release about a new season revealed a new country unknown by the spoilers?

Azerbaijan (20), Seychelles (16) are the two I can remember off the top of my head.

Thanks. I was just wondering. (I had a theory that WRP knew we didn't know it, so they didn't reveal it, which I know now cannot be the case.)

Paraguay (20), Indonesia, Denmark, Belgium (19), Leichtenstein (18) also fall into this category.

Not sure if we're reading the question the same way, but Docol and other fans spoiled the Paraguay leg as it happened, and Indonesia's got to be amongst the most stalked legs (beating even Sydney and Taipei) ever!

So we didn't know about Seychells, Liechtenstien, and Azerbijian until spoilers. I noticed those countries listed are all not as well known (I believe, I could be wrong) as Latvia/Slovakia. Perhaps WRP, knowing we knew all but that country (?), they didn't tell us since its not as "well known" as Latvia/Slovakia.
Sorry, I bet this sounds confusing. :gaah:

If Neobie's presumptions are right, the missing leg is in Lithuania, already visited in TAR12; a season that - what a coincidence - also had a leg in the Netherlands.

I'm also one of those (sadly) thinking that there's no new country, but I'd be uber excited about that, because I live in Lithuania and it was already super cool to see my country featured in TAR12  :hearts:  :hearts:

But sorry, perhaps I missed something - according to what presumptions could the missing leg be in Lithuania?
