ALEX

My name is “Prime Time 99” (Alex), and I am on the grind all the time, baby.  I am a 25 year old Bail Bondsman from Dallas, Texas that loves to eat steak and shrimp on a daily basis.  I live my life one day at time and the most joy I get out of it is making other people laugh.  I have always been the class clown and I have never been afraid of the spotlight.  I am excited to compete in “The Glass House” because I have been a top level competitor my entire life.  I was captain of my High School football team, where I wore the number 99 loud and proud on my chest.  I still carry the nickname with me today.  I’m the “99man” and I’ll always blow your mind, man.  I have never or will never be afraid of anything on this planet because I live my life without fear.  I am a true patriot that loves America more than anything, I am also a lifelong Texan that graduated college from Louisiana State University down in the Bayou of Baton Rouge, so when you’re watching 99 do his “thang,” be prepared to get some South in yo Mouth, baby, because I am putting the South on my back and taking us all the way to the championship game. I may be young but I have experienced a lot of trials and tribulations in my life, which has made me the man I am today.  While I am in the house I promise you I will be the life of the party because that’s the only way I know how to live my life.  Life has given me so many lemons so I know how to make some delicious lemonade.  If at first I rub you the wrong way just give me chance to show you how kind of a person I really am.  I was raised by a single dad so my father is the most important person in my life; he is also my best friend in the entire world.  Now my mom is an angel but she is also the one who taught me how to be the life of the party.  I wear my heart on my sleeve and there is nothing more on this planet that I want than to make you happy.  Whatever I have to do please America, I will gladly do with a huge smile on my face.  I’m very sympathetic for my competitors because I am a fine oiled machine that can’t be stopped by anyone or anything.  So America, sit back and relax while Prime Time 99 entertains you to your full potential. Trust me you don’t want to miss what I’m about to do in “The Glass House,” baby.

Andrea

My name is Andrea and I'm 31 years old from Santa Clarita, California, where I was born and raised.  I am a book keeper at my parents' Tire Shop where I work with 7 of my 8 brothers.  Yes...I said 8 brothers!  Growing up in a large family really shaped me into the person I am today.  I always knew my brothers would be there for me no matter what and that they'd always have my back.  As a result I am extremely loyal.  I am very competitive and, being the only girl in my family, I have always felt like I have something to prove.  I will go toe-to-toe with anyone no matter what their size and I don't quit.  I work hard but play harder.  I am driven by my faith to always do my best and to Choose The Right.  My favorite part about my life is that I have been married for 10 years to the most loving, not to mention, the hottest man in the world, Kris, and we have three amazing, beautiful children.  They give me the strength to push myself to do things that I never imagined I could, like running a marathon and jumping out of an airplane.  I always want to make them proud.  They are my biggest supporters and my biggest fans.  I love them with every particle of my being and I am going to win this game for them, but I can't do it alone.  I need your help!

Apollo

My name is Apollo. This summer, I have an opportunity to make a dream come true, but not without YOUR support, which is why I'm calling out to all of you to join my team, as we rise to the top! (cue Rocky theme song)  A little background on me:  I was raised on the East Coast and now live in the Southwest.   I have had many challenges in my life, including being homeless and getting robbed at gun-point, but I always pushed forward regardless.  I used my experiences as an opportunity to transform myself, rather than become a victim of my circumstances.   In 2009, I overcame my fears and moved into my van to travel around America for six months.  During this life-changing trip, I went to over 40 states and got to experience the diversity and culture of this country.  I volunteered at homeless shelters, high schools, nursing homes, and everywhere I could.  My mission was to spread positivity, to inspire and uplift people, and to promote the arts.  I documented my journey in a book I wrote.  Do I still have fears? We all do!  The goal isn't to be perfect.  The goal is to push through as much as we can and constantly grow and expand.  Even though I have gone through a lot of tragedies, experienced loss, and suffered from countless health issues, I never used those things as EXCUSES.  I chose to not allow my circumstances to be a crutch for my aspirations.  Everything is a choice!  My philosophy on life is to live it as passionately as possible.  For that reason, I became obsessed with learning.  So people get a little surprised when they find out that I'm an author, poet, photographer, poker player, magazine columnist, magician, rapper, certified life coach, activist, public speaker, entrepreneur and film-maker!  Sound a little too ambitious?  Well, I believe "over-achiever" is a term that under-achievers made up to feel better about themselves.  Our time on this planet is so short, so why waste it with the mundane?  I want to inspire people to shake things up!  Break through their fears!  I am still working on breaking through my own and sometimes in life, you just have to take a chance and have faith.  My goal for the show is to be myself, have fun, and be in the moment.  I believe there is an equation for success, and I will not stop until I find it!  The fact that you are reading this right now means that our paths were destined to cross and we are now connected on this great journey that lies ahead.  And with that said, let's go kick some Glass House butt, shall we?

Ashley

The baby of 12, I learned early in life to talk a little louder and stand a little taller to be seen and heard.  I’m the BIGGEST small person you’ll ever see!  I'm as spicy as the cuisine my hometown is known for.  In a world that is filled with pretentious people, I'm a straight shooter.  My flavorful personality combined with my "don't take no stuff" attitude should pique your interest to keep me in the house until the end.  I am a New Orleans native that is proud of my Creole heritage, I love the Saints (Who Dat!) and will rep LSU (Geaux Tigers!) until the day I die.  Being from the "Big Easy," I know that life isn't always simple and learned this lesson the greatest when I had to flee my birthplace in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  This adversity highlighted how strong-willed and resilient I am, as I quickly adapted to Houston, TX - the place I now call home.  Don't let the sweet face fool you, I do have a brain.  I'm a paralegal for a respected firm in Houston.  When I'm not at work, spending time with family and friends, or out being the life of the party, you can find me writing, singing and recording music.  My motivators include: God's love because it is everlasting, my family's support because it pushes me harder, and my personal desire to succeed in life.  I possess a competitive spirit and I love to win.  I believe everyone has the ability to shine, but I feel I will stand out.  More importantly, I don't need to dim anyone else's light to in order to outshine others.

Erica

Hailing from the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, Erica came into the world at 11:02 a.m. on April 17th, 1985, and the world has never been quite the same -- though there seems to be no general consensus as to whether it has gotten better or worse.  As a child, Erica was “very bright” according to her teachers, but kind of what you would call in “indoor kid.”  A bit of a loner with pervasive psoriasis, Erica could usually be found alone in a finished basement brooding and making her Barbie dolls do it while the other kids were running through a sprinkler or something.  In high school, she was president of drama club and got invited to enough cool-kid parties to keep her from developing an eating disorder, so all in all, it was pretty okay.  After high school, she attended Ohio State University.  Miraculously, she managed to graduate with a 4.0 GPA.  She can’t tell you how this happened because she can’t remember half of college.  Immediately after graduation, Erica realized that her B.A. in English would not provide her with the above-ground pool full of liquid gold she had always dreamed of, so she set out to develop some marketable skills for the business world.  After earning the requisite licenses, Erica worked in the dog-eat-dog world of finance for three years.  She hated pretty much everything about it except for screaming out lines from Wall Street at inappropriate times and hanging up the telephone way too hard, which made her feel important.  She knew she wanted to do something more creative but didn’t know what yet, so she attended law school at the University of Cincinnati in the meantime.  No dice.  She completed the first year with good grades but spent the majority of her time there composing totally epic facebook statuses and stupid songs about professors.  And so a month into her second year, Erica had an intense quarter-life crisis, read a lot of J.D. Salinger, dropped out of law school, and moved to Colorado.  She is now a cocktail waitress and aspiring writer.  She has never been happier.  Seven kidney stones and law school debt will do that, and she desperately needs your support, America.  Erica currently sleeps on an air mattress with a leak in it.   For just three hundred online votes per week, you can make all the difference for a hot-mess-with-a-heart-of-gold like Erica.  Please, America, don’t sit idly by while Erica fattens up with Ramen carbs day after day.  Pick up your laptop and “be the change.”  Erica needs this.  She’s honored to be your human Sim and promises to do her best to entertain you if you’ll just please vote for her.  And she also promises to invite you to her birthday party.  Xoxo.

Gene

“Hollywood”, a nickname synonymous with Gene. With his charismatic appeal, dramatic presence, and chameleon like ability, Gene’s poised to impact the nations. This single, tall (6’7”), dark, and handsome young man is a force all his own.  As a Stuntman, Wrestler, Professional Driver, Bodyguard, Director, Social Event Sponsor/Promoter and more, Gene wears many hats.  He’s an ambitious force that sees anything he attempts become immensely successful without breaking a sweat.  One of Gene’s most memorable moments was a towering “dunk” that shocked the crowd and shattered a backboard - gifting him with a few scars and a story!  Paintball, basketball, football, snowboarding, roller coasters, collecting Star Wars memorabilia and, of course, his trademark-hats tell the story of Gene!  With a personal mandate to enjoy New Life, Gene surrounds himself with positive people and is always ready for a good time, believing laughter is “good for the soul.”  This gregarious and fun-loving guy makes sure that there is plenty to go around with a contagious and hilarious blend of knowledge, loving sarcasm, and a razor-sharp quick wit.  Gene is a quiet storm with a ROCKSTAR mentality so watch out!  Proudly, Gene has always been 100% drug free.  Gene has several goals: to be the greatest stunt actor to ever live, to direct national and international hit stage plays and feature films, and open an international chain of faith-based social clubs.  Internally, Gene’s upbringing and foundation keeps him firmly rooted.  God, a great mother, a close-knit cadre of friends, and a never-ending quest for life affirming opportunities keeps him moving.  He remembers jumping over a railing some 35 stories in the air to help free himself and his trapped friends from a rooftop stairwell.  Gene’s mother, a strong and driven single parent, nurtured and encouraged her only child.  He credits his good friend Joe Williams for motivating him to become a professional stuntman.   After an unexpected death of a dear friend, “Rice”, he committed to making everyday EPIC because “it’s not about how long or short your life is, but what you do with the dash in the middle that counts,” Gene says.  Gene strives everyday to do his best and focus on what’s right.  An avid thrill seeker, Gene is undoubtedly one of the most adventurous and motivated individuals to hail from Chicago.  This is shaping up to be a spectacular life for this twenty-something on the national and international stage.

Jacob

Hello, everyone, my name is Jacob - and I'm 28 years old 6 feet 2 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes.  I was born and raised in Coos Bay, OR, a little town with a few thousand people on the Oregon coast where I have spent my entire life up until 4 months ago when I moved to Hollywood, CA to pursue my dreams.  I am extremely athletic and confidant I work out and run every day, I take great care of my body.  I grew up playing every sport you can think of along with racing motorcycles and going hunting and fishing with my dad and friends all my life.  One of my favorite hobbies is going Gold Mining on the Sixes River and I'm a huge gold and silver collector.  I also love to go to the beach and go Metal Detecting.  I'm a huge treasure hunter.  I have a great family that I love with all my heart.  I’m a very hard worker.  I've done manual labor, everything from fishing on an 86 foot dragger boat, to logging in the woods, to working as a masonry packing cement blocks, to being a golf caddie and to being a head cook flipping hamburgers at my grandparents restaurant.  I always knew and felt in my heart that I was meant to do more and big things, with my personality and strengths and will, there’s nobody out there that dreams bigger than me. The more I have to go through in life to get me what I want only adds to every attribute and makes me who I am.  My motivation is wanting to succeed to be something in life.  Being able to get and do what I want without worrying about money or how I’d be able to do it.  Just to be able to one day afford to help little kids or someone other than myself.  I’m very passionate about helping others, the biggest high I can ever get in life is when I see the look on someone’s face after you know you did something nice for them to make there day that’s what I want to do every day of my life when I make it big.  I have a very special ability with helping people.  To actually have enough to make a difference be it animals or little kids there’s too many starving and struggling to just want it all to myself.  I’m a very generous person with a huge heart.  It kills me to see someone in a worse situation than me and the best I can do is pocket change.  I want to be able to change someone’s life as much as this could change mine.  So America, I would love for you to keep me in the house and vote for me because I will always give you the best personality you have ever seen on TV every single episode you watch and I’ll do whatever it takes to keep you on my side.  I will never be fake or someone I’m not, I will always give you the real me every single day.  I promise you will love me.

Jeffrey

I had never been to New York City before moving here 9 years ago with my friends.  My job as a paraeducator for people with disabilities in California ended due to budget cuts, and since I didn't have the resources to finish college, I thought a creative adventure would be worthwhile.  After many retail positions, writing classes, and temp assignments, I settled into being a very, very high powered... receptionist.  I miss the days when I worked as a summer camp administrator and job coach for people with developmental disabilities, but I am a true believer of that tired, old saying "Everything happens for a reason.”  My motivation in life right now is trying to define and discover the new American Dream.  We have all been told it exists, but there are so many paths to choose from on the way to finding it.  Perhaps this show is part of that journey.  My humorous outlook on the world around us keeps me grounded and sane.  My family of friends and I have fun hosting game nights, themed brunches, and silly hat parties.  I am very passionate about LGBTQ civil rights and activism, Mexican food, and my sweet mother, who, as a cancer survivor, has taught me that the power of positivity conquers all.

Joy

My name is Joy.  I was born in Madrid, Spain.  I am Spanish, French, and Scottish.  My dad was in the Air Force and my family traveled a lot while I was growing up.  I have lived in Spain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and all over the USA!  I am a single mom.   I have a beautiful little girl.  She is so sweet and smart!   She makes my world go 'round!  I have been modeling since 2007 and I have posed for Playboy 6 times.  I love to travel, meet new people, and go to Playboy Golf events around the country.  I am a huge animal lover.  I have a cat named Jupiter and a fish named Mister Blue Fins.  I am also a carnivore and prefer my steak medium rare.  I enjoy cooking for friends and family.  I think people who make instant mashed potatoes are lazy.  Desserts are my specialty.  I make a mean banana cream pie.  I have even been known to wear a whip cream bikini!  I am a big kid at heart.  I love playing Pac Man, nerf guns, silly string, go carts, laser tag.  Bring it!  I enjoy watching cheesy horror films and re-runs of Saturday morning cartoons.  My friends would describe me as bubbly and I am always up for an adventure!  I think that life is short and each day should be lived to the fullest.  I wake up every day and try to be the best me that I can be.  I am excited about this experience and I can’t wait to see what happens!

My name is Kevin and I am a 33 year old father of one from Toledo, Ohio.  My daughter’s name is Samara and she is 15 years old.  During the school year Samara lives with me full time which causes me to rely heavily on the assistance of my mom and sister, who fortunately live close.  Samara and I live in a small suburb of Toledo called Walbridge, Ohio.  I have lived in, or around Toledo my entire life.  I am employed with the Toledo Police Department where I have worked for nearly 12 years.  Six of those years were spent as a Detective with the Vice/Narcotics Unit, though I now work as a supervisor in Field Operations (patrol).  Before becoming a police officer I worked as a pizza maker, shoe salesman, and even a 911 call taker.  My work history has provided me with many unique and interesting experiences which I’m sure will come in handy while competing in “The Glass House.”  In my spare time I attend classes at a local University and expect to have my degree in criminal justice sometime early next year.  When I’m not pulling daddy duty, working, or going to school, I absolutely love to watch and play any and all sports.  My favorite sport to watch is football and my favorite sport to play is softball.  I consider myself a very competitive person who hates to lose.  I also love to read and travel, though I don’t get to do either one nearly as much as I would like.  I try to read at least one book a month but sometimes my schedule doesn’t allow it.  My ultimate goals in life are to raise my daughter to be a good person and to continue to work hard serving the citizens of Toledo.  I believe that you only get one life to live so you should always make each moment count.  My absolute number one priority is to always have fun no matter what I’m doing.  If you’re not having fun, what’s the point?

Melissa

Melissa is an outgoing adventurous Chicagoan whose energy and personality earned her the nickname ‘Spunky’ among her friends.  Melissa loves all things Chicago from deep-dish pizza and hot dogs; to the Chicago Cubs and Da Bears!  Growing up in a family who loved to play games and gamble, she would fantasize, not about becoming a princess but, instead, about turning 18 so she could play Bingo with her grandma.  Her grandmother used to joke that grandmas should teach their grandkids to cook and sew; instead she taught Melissa rummy, blackjack, and what a stick-man was.  Growing up Melissa’s family spent weekends at the racetrack and took many trips to Wrigley Field, where her father taught her one of her favorite games -- Beer Cup Baseball.  Melissa used to be a dedicated World of Warcraft gamer and loves her gnome mage Mahgenta.  She is also a huge Lord of The Rings and Nightmare Before Christmas fan and proudly has the Evenstar and Oogie Boogies dice tattooed on her.  You’ll have to watch to find out where!  Melissa came from a divorced home, but always looking on the bright side, she joked that it meant two birthday cakes!  Her time in high school, however, was a struggle, being raised by a single mom in nursing school she moved around a lot landing her at 5 different schools by her junior year.  Never able to keep up or catch up with her school work, Melissa dropped out of school against her parents’ wishes and completed her GED.  Needing to prove to herself that you can still be successful without a diploma, Melissa was accepted to Columbia College Chicago and graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.  Melissa has found some success after graduation working on and off camera, as a reporter for a horse racing show and on production for a somewhat crazy daytime talk show.  Eventually following her dreams to California, and currently living in Los Angeles, Melissa has spent the last few years working in poker journalism.  She has traveled to 15 countries and has interviewed the world’s best poker players and many celebrities.  Her dream is to work as a sports reporter or on a travel show.  Volunteering is another passion of Melissa’s.  In 2005 she was heartbroken by the effects of Hurricane Katrina and joined the Red Cross to live in a shelter and help the victims of New Orleans.  She is currently a volunteer for School on Wheels, an organization in LA that tutors homeless kids.  “The Glass House” is a perfect home for fun-loving and spontaneous Melissa as she loves a challenge and tough competition.  She has had many adventures from volcano sledding in Nicaragua to throwing tomatoes at Tomatina (the world’s largest tomato fight) in Spain and looks at “The Glass House” as the greatest adventure she can embark on, a completely unknown challenge controlled by YOU!

How do you squeeze 48 years into 500 words?  Get to the point quickly!  That's what you can expect from me.  That's a Northeast attitude, we don't beat around the bush.  Let me explain, I come from a long line of Irish "geniuses" raised in Boston dating back to 1840.  I'm not kidding, very important...Civil War Officers, Doctors, Professors and Business leaders, then there's me...a Bar-Mitzvah DJ!  (What happened? I'll get to that in a moment).  From my Great, Great Grandfather to my father, all of my ancestors shared the same philosophy.  The key to their success was a simple formula....HARD WORK, look people in the eye, your word is your bond, discipline, and never ever forget where you came from.  My father stressed these values to me growing up.  I thought I knew better and rebelled against his advice.  I decided life was too short to work hard, so I wanted to have fun!  Sometimes too much fun (no convictions).  I was the prince of high school parties and graduated to King of Campus in College where I created so much fun they asked me to leave.   So what does an undisciplined know-it-all ask himself after the shame of flunking out?... How can I get PAID to party and have fun?  The idea came to me -- start a DJ business (That's how you make lemonade from potatoes, kids.)  I was the worst DJ for 2 years.  Discouraged, beat down and losing clients,  it appeared the party train was running off the rails.  My dad offered advice again, but this time I was ready to listen.  He said "if this is what you love doing... then be the best at it.”   I knew entertaining people was what I loved, so I buckled down, worked hard and figured out how to get to the top.   After 30 years I stand on top of Mitzvah Mountain.  I have done this successfully for over 2000 families all over Boston.  With the clarity of my dad’s advice, I wanted to push myself even further.  For the last 15 years I've taken on many difficult challenges and have come out of every situation grateful for the experience.  These challenges tested my intestinal fortitude in ways ranging from physical extremes to mental endurances.  I learned discipline, self control and focus.  Life was getting good; beautiful family, successful business and pursuing unique endeavors.  I enter this competition for two reasons;  win money for my children's education and look at myself in the mirror and be proud of my children's father!

Robin

Really it’s quite simple.  I’m 47% Mom, 52.5% sweetheart, 52.75% witch (saddest day of my life was when that house fell on my sister), 82% statistical genius, and 100% sarcastic.  I’m the type of person who says, “excuse me”, even if I’m by myself.  Comedy and comedians are a passion for me.  Sherri Shepherd is one of my favorite class acts.  Would be my all-time passion, but then there’s sushi to think about.  And shoes.  Lord, let’s not forget the shoes.  I like my coffee black along with my football—just add silver for the Oakland Raiders and gold for the Pittsburgh Steelers to make one very happy woman.  Cute, cuddly rescued dogs and cats hold a special place in my heart.  Underdogs of any kind hold a special place in my heart.  But nothing, NOTHING, brings out my passionate side more quickly or strongly than my daughters.  They’re the BEST ev-ah!!  Bright.  Completive.  Beautiful.  Funny.  Loving.  Bold.  They’re exactly who I want to be when I grow up.  Lafayette, Indiana, is where I grew up, but I have lived all over “Hoosier-ville” in addition to Poway, California, and Cincinnati, Ohio.  I currently reside in the Washington, DC area.  43 years of living has taught me to laugh—especially at myself.  Have fun laughing with me and at me.  Should be a fun game.

Being cast on “The Glass House” is already one of the most surreal and bizarre things that has ever happened to me, and I couldn’t be more excited!  I’m outgoing and curious, and absolutely thrilled about the adventure ahead.  So who am I, anyway?  I grew up in Ohio and embody that friendly Midwest personality.  My family was always kind of nerdy, and I can fondly remember us listening to the Lord Of The Rings books on tape together in the living room.  My brother and I were always encouraged in our writing of silly plays and building forts in the woods.  This led to a sense of adventure that has taken me across the world following various careers, and I’ve most recently landed in Boston where I absolutely love my job and my life.  I LOVE cooking and creating new dishes, designing my apartment’s interior, hosting and attending games nights, going out to explore the town with friends, and throwing parties of all sorts.  (Fine French cuisine dinner party?  Yep!  Food Confessions Potluck anyone?  You know you love that Velveeta dip!)  I’m always up for any new experience and I don’t worry too much about what other people think of it.  Other experiences in my life have made it clear to me that each day can literally be your last and I try to really LIVE every day and be the most genuine me possible.  That has led me to the randomness of finding myself entering this show.  I’m excited about the challenge of the competition, the dynamics of living with complete strangers, and ultimately about proving that my skills and experience can translate to winning the $250,000 prize.
