Yeah, They've seemed to gone to 50 minutes of material instead of the full hour usually seen last season.

As mentioned, this has had an effect on editing. They're leaving a lot out. I think TAR makes do with even shorter time, something like 42-44 minutes. Although even TAR's editing in the past 2 or so season have been substandard

One of the  things I instantly liked about TARaus was that they put more of it on the screen. But the editing team just seems crunched now.

BTW it's never a good  sign when a network keeps shuffling a show around to different timeslots. Bonehead decisions.

Is it enough to keep the show going and getting renewed for another season though? I'd think at the 7:30 timeslot they'd be at least hoping to hit the 1 million mark, but I guess that's pretty close. Also Home and Away which was before that had a lower total (800k or something) which is lower than its usual million so I'm assuming it was just a bad night to draw in viewers from H&A. Revenge did astonishingly well as usual though (almost 1.4mil).
On a side note 7 Casting did post on their facebook page to be on the lookout for any casting announcements so they obviously anticipate a 3rd season, just have to wait for more promising numbers and this is a step in the right direction.

Episode 6 - 1.1mil  :conf: :hearts: :yess:
:hrt: :keeta: If it keeps above the 1 mil threshold, we might get a third season!

As much as I hate time slot changes, I reckon it could benefit from being shifted to 8:30 now that Revenge is done so that it doesn't clash with Masterchef. I was flicking back and forth just to make sure my precious Amina didn't go home on MasterChef last night.

So happy with the rise in viewers! :yess:

Actually, Revenge isn't done yet - it still has three more episodes to go until it finishes, but I personally like the 7:30 timeslot because it is more accessible for some viewers, although personally I'd prefer 8:30.

Don't forget the Olympics start in three weeks, so it'll be interesting to see what Seven does with this show since it definitely won't rate for those two episodes during the games.

The 9.30 slot was awful. I think this Monday 7.30, or Monday 8.30 timeslot should be where it stays. It is where the race is most at home and can easily pull viewers. I mean 1.1 million and 971 thousand compared to only 691 and 750 thousand is a lot more, and that is the threshold it needs to stay at to get it's much deserved third season!

Worth noting, though, that it was also up against an episode of The Voice US (which has been shunted into the schedule three nights a week so Nine can run it into the ground some more).

Episode 10 (Monday 13 August) - 787,000
Episode 11 (Tuesday 14 August) - 896,000
Individual state numbers to come soon
That's a solid jump!  :hoot:  Hope the Grand Final can pull over 900,000 or even hit the million mark!  :conf:

You also have to consider that for both ep 11 and 12 it was up against the new and not very improved BB on 9 which scored 1.6 and 1.3 on Monday and Tuesday
